"Sadly disappointed"
December, 2018
Although the staff was friendly and professional, I was sadly disappointed in the accommodations. The rooms were at best, mediocre. Not what I would expect after reading the descriptions on the Welk website and paying their rates. Even more frustrating was not having any hot water for a shower! After Letting the water “run until the water gets hot”, as told to do so by a gentleman at the front desk, an hour later the water was still cold and I no longer had the time to shower before our reserved dinner show. Needless to say, we won’t be back!

"Excellent Adventure!!!"
August, 2018
This was my first time planning my family vacation. Everything worked perfectly! We had no issues at all. We got there, checked in, and they put us in a room right next to my aunt who was just passing through. The rooms were a tad on the smaller side, but who really spends a lot time in their room anyway? There is so much to do at the hotel! There is a list of events everywhere to make sure you don't miss a thing. The Splashatorium is pretty awesome, even for us adults! There is a smaller pool on the backside of the hotel too, which was usually less crowded and great for family wading. The rooms were clean, however, the beds weren't the most comfortable, but we all know nothing compares to our own! The breakfast buffet is great! Definitely worth the cost. Fill up early and spend less later! I would totally recommend this resort and we will stay there again for sure! P.S. If address the concierge regarding the timeshare mumbo jumbo upfront, they won't bother you again ;)

"Great experience!!"
July, 2018
We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the set up. They have activities lined up all day so even if you don't have plans you can still have fun there. My kids as well as my husband and I loved the splashatorium. The staff was super friendly and always helpful.

The stay was nice as was the splashatorium. It was a little hard to find,as it blended in with all the other buildings and it did not look like a hotel.A long walk from car to room.Otherwise a great stay.

"Great Time"
May, 2018
This is a really nice resort. The people are friendly and the resort is very nice clean and comfortable. However, we did have to pay more for the splashatorium entrance and were only able to use it the first night we checked in, it was closed for remodel the rest of the time. I was not very pleased with this. I was very upset having been charged for something we could not use when the splashatorium was the reason we chose this resort. Would have given five stars had this not happened

We stayed here on a 7 week trip around the US - Branson was on the way to Dallas - so we picked this place for a 3 day stop off. The location of the hotel is on the outskirts of town - not close to the waterfront bit, or the sort of entertainment bit on the way to Silver Dollar City - if you have a car which I imagine most people do, thats no big deal as getting anywhere would be about a 10-15 drive including Silver Dollar City. So in someways its central but also close to nothing if you were walking. It is close to the Branson Dam - which has a cool little free visitors centre which the kids liked with all the fish. As for the hotel itself, after more than 50 nights in hotels across the country, its more of the same, which is not bad - standard size and shape rooms , nothing special but clean and tidy - we were in the main block by reception and it was quiet although I suspect it was lower season as the whole resort seemed very quiet. Checkin/Out was quick and efficient, there was plenty of parking and as there is a surprising amount of activities to do around Branson didnt get to much time to check out the rather large grounds. We did pay the extra and checkout the Splashtorium. Which while simple the kids absolutely loved the Slide and had a great time. The water was perfect temp when we were there even though it was colder outside so the splash pad etc was not on. We used it a couple of times, both it was completely unmanned , never saw a staff member, so could (as many were) just use it without the wrist band as noone was there ever. Overall it was a completely reasonable place to stay, the price was pretty reasonable. There appears to be dozens of other options, but all said and done, this was good for us.

Not impressed. Bad idea. Walls are paper thin. The door to the room we’re in have a conjoining soon the handles about to fall off. The Tub floor is stained the outside of the rooms door is rough as well as others we seen. The person at check in gave us horrible directions to our room. The water park is extra and in a different building. Won’t be back!!! Wouldn’t recommend.

"A nice roomy condo"

My husband, daughter and myself stayed at the one bedroom condo. It was spacious with a nice sized table and couch in the sitting area. There is a full sized refrigerator, oven, two burners, sink, dish washer, washer and dryer, microwave, dishes, etc. The bathroom was nice with a Jacuzzi tub. Everything was clean and the screened in balcony with rocking chairs was great for relaxing. My daughter loved the splashatorium. We have stayed here several times, but usually in the hotel..I think we will be staying in the condos from now on...certainly worth the extra money.

Overall our stay over presidents day weekend was just okay. I'm glad I wasn't a member of the timeshare for sure. The positives are JJ at the activities center and Skye (I think) at the front desk were very nice and professional. There were a few crew members who had bad attitude or just weren't going to go out of their way to make sure guest experience was important. We stayed in the newer one bedroom lodge which was a nice room. Nice kitchen, balcony, fireplaces, bathroom, etc. Downside is they apparently didn't use any soundproofing between rooms so I could hear snoring or normal conversations while in bed like they were in our room. The game room was nice, pool table, ping pong, and foosball. Breakfast buffet was okay, very limited for the off season which I kind of get but it was still a let down. The older buildings need to be updated, exterior breeze way area could use fresh paint. One part was really nice and updated while the other looked like it needed tlc. I will probably try my luck somewhere else next time I come to Branson.

We stayed at the Welk Resort for one night. However, my card was charged three times and no one who had the proper permission was on staff to resolve my issue. After four days and several phone calls every person I spoke to continued to give me the run around about issuing a refund. No one on staff could even answer my question as to why they fraudulently charged my card. STAY AWAY from this resort at all costs.
