"Well organized, well put together"

We thought we would only need a few hours, but we were the first on the ship and we stayed all day. Take the little speaker thing they give you when you first walk in. They did a really nice job of making small pieces of information come to life with first hand experiences of the men who lived it. Also sit and listen to the guys in the yellow hats. So informative and interesting. The movie was better than expected.

Tip: go to the tour of "the Island" first. go through all the small parts of the ship -- so much to see.

"No seasickness here!"
December, 2018
We prebought our tickets and moved right along. For as long as the lines were, there was plenty of room to pause and take pictures. Seeing the demonstrations at top deck was very informative. The kids enjoyed sitting in the planes and helicopters. Walking thru the gully’s to see sleeping quarters, kitchen and laundry was great. Would return again.

"Midway : A Unique Experience"
December, 2018
When we planned our trip to San Diego , visiting USS Midway was on the top of all things to do . Reserve San Diego provided a great discount on the entry ticket which no other site provided and it was much better than the one provided on USS Midway site or in person. It was a smooth sailing with my mobile e ticket and easy check in . The ship was full of interesting exhibits and I also took the free guided tour inside - which was so informational. It was a nice sunny breezy day in San Diego and the scenic views from the deck were amazing ! Definitely worth the price and thanks to Reserve San Diego , we had a great time aboard !

"AWESOME!"
December, 2018
we’re from the Central Valley and my sister and brother in law are from Massachusetts. We decided to make a trip down to San Diego for the weekend and I wanted to surprise them with something. And the USS MIDWAY MUSEUM was one of the places I thought of and I’m glad I did. My mom shared her childhood memory of the USS MIDWAY.. the ship was in the Philippines when she was in 3rd grade and brought fond memories while we explored the ship.

My family and I loved this place. My kids are 12 and 9 and they really enjoyed exploring. The self guided audio tour (free) was perfect. You could listen to something about every single thing on display or you could pick and choose as your attention span allowed it. The docents answering questions also added so much to the experience.

This is an excellent exhibit for people who like machines, airplanes, helicopters, war history. This is not a good idea for small children or teenagers who have no interest in history or airplanes, etc unless you just want to give them a taste and take some quick pictures and head to the beach.I like this kind of stuff and I spent several hours on the Midway.

This carrier (or any of the few others that have been preserved) should be visited by all Americans. When you do you will understand why America was and remains the greatest Military power in the world and take pride in all of our servicemen!

Really enjoyed the parts of the ship we had time to see. Docents were really interesting to talk to and kids loved the flight deck and climbing into the helicopters etc. Just wish we could have taken more time over it but with small children there always a limit to their tolerance!
