My two adult daughters, my three grandchildren (11,8,6) and I went on this tour on Tuesday April 16. We had a BALL! Our two tour guides (Jackie & Aaron) were friendly and hilarious! Of the three days we were in the city and of all the things we did, this was the BEST! Can't wait to do it again!

Booked an evening tour using our Sightseeing passes. On reflection maybe not the tour for us. Very clever and found some interesting facts about the city. The Duane Reade joke wore thin after the 5th time. Have a drink before you board!

"It was alright"

We had heard about the ride prior to travelling on NYC The Place to Be forum which had mixed reviews but we decided to go and see for ourselves regardless. Sadly none of us particularly enjoyed it the 2 hosts were fine and funny and very informative however we anticipated a lot more street performers and to see a lot more than we did we all felt it was a lot of money for not a lot of anything just our opinion sadly not for us I’m afraid .

"Terrible 75 minutes "
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed April 19, 2019 NEW
We did the 75 minute “experience” in the theatre district and oh how I wish I could get those 75 minutes back. Our guides "Scott & Jackie" (which I've since learned that all the guides on the tours use that name combo - lol) were bad. "Scott" didn't say much and "Jackie" was a more annoying, Dollar Store Lea Michele. She said she had just graduated from NYU in acting which I don't know if that is true or part of the act but NYU should cringe either way. "Jackie" took potshots at some of the people on the bus repeatedly. It was supposed to be in good fun but when she said the same thing over and over it became tedious. She also made a point to yell through the mic at every tour bus that their "bus sucks." They pointed out numerous Duane Reades. They talked about Duane Reade so much I thought they might pay for the advertising. We passed the same things several times in 75 minutes. The street performers were meh, some better than others. Real NYC street performers are far better. The worst part was there was very little info given about the places we did see aside from jokes. I wouldn't have minded the cheesy jokes if it accompanied some content. I realize this is supposed to be an entertainment experience. It was an experience but not entertaining. I will say the buses themselves are pretty awesome and if the content was a lot better those buses would be the way to take a tour of NYC hands down. These buses have great potential but it was just sad. Wish we'd have just gone to Ellen's Stardust Diner for some real entertainment since I didn't need a tour of the midtown Duane Reades with some terrible humor mixed in.
