The inn is a beautiful and immaculately kept property with lovely gardens and a beautiful small pool. Our request for an early check in was accommodated. The room is small but more than ample for two with a very comfortable bed. We loved the fire pits outside at night and do not miss the historical tour. Breakfast was nicely done with many cold options including meat cheeses muffins and yogurt . Staff is very welcoming and friendly I was surprised at the thirty dollar a day accommodation fee as I did not recall seeing that before checkout but that may well have been my lack of attention to detail We would love to return

What a lovely inn! Charming and quaint with everything you need and located right in the heart of the historic district. I babysit my 3 year old grandson all year so it was great to be at an adult only facility for a few days. I highly recommend it.

We stayed at the pink Murat house as our daughter whom we were travelling with had two small dogs. It was amazing with beamed ceilings and great attention to detail exactly as if a relais and chateau. The staff could not be nicer or friendlier and the grounds simply beautiful with the different houses, landscape, etc including lots of winding brick pathways, a fire pit or two, plenty of places to sit and enjoy your surroundings, My husband and I travel a lot and this was most definitely a unique property in every way with a fabulous location as well in St. Augustine,

"Thank you Southern Living"

My sister read about The Collector in a recent issue of Southern Living magazine and we were so glad she did. It was everything that it is touted to be. The history of the property, including the amazing restoration undertaken by Mr. Corneal and crew to bring it to its present day splendor, make it so much more than just a place to stay. We felt like we were helping to preserve a little bit of history by being there. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Melissa’s history tour with the personal lowdown on the restoration (she came with the property so was there for it all) was worth the price of admission! I look forward to returning.
