Sweet Fanny Adams Presents Ollie's Festive Follies in Gatlinburg, TN

Our daughter is turning 16 years old in a couple of days and we wanted to celebrate her birthday in a special way. She asked if we could possibly spend a weekend in Gatlinburg and go to a performance at the Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre. (Yes, this is a teenager's request.) Turns out they had a two performances scheduled for Presidents Day weekend and we were able to plan on attending on a Friday night after driving up from Atlanta. She has seen two other shows during previous visits to the area over the years and remembered them well. The show was wonderful and the performers were splendid. Broad humor, puns. burlesque and vaudeville would be suitable descriptors. The energy and enthusiasm of the performers turns even the most tired of jokes toward the light of laughter. They truly seem to enjoy what they are doing on stage and their delight was contagious. With so many attractions in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area pulling your entertainment dollars I sometimes feel ill used. I left this theatre feeling well served and satiated. They have crafted a quality product that sparkles. We'll continue to make this a regular enjoyment when we come to Gatlinburg. A couple of small points. Watch for discount coupons that save a couple of dollars per ticket, although I couldn't figure how to use these on line for reservations. They are happy to announce special occasions among the audience so feel free to mention these. Be prepared to participate in the sing-along. There are good-natured penalties if you don't.

The theatre is really cool and takes you back in time! The performers do a great job. Fun old vaudeville style comedy.

Old time, clean family fun. Two hours of entertainment & laughs. We have seen two shows & not been disappointed yet! We can’t wait to see another show!

The Sweet Fannny Adams Theatre is a glimpse into what the old vaudeville shows were like. Chris and Jennifer MacPherson and crew always deliver a great performance. If you have never seen a performance by SFA , add it to your list on your next trip to the Smoky Mountains

SFA never fails in delivering a great time. We saw Ollie's Follies and laughed all through the show. My sister-in-law fell in love with the place and said she had never laughed so much in her laugh. Great place, great people, great show. This is my happy place!
