Tip: Get ready for a wonderful heart warming experience like you've never seen!!! I've been wanting to see this show for quite some time. Finally...it happened during my last visit to Myrtle Beach in December. Unfortunately the holidays have become so commercialized and the real meaning of Christmas has been lost.Host was wonderful, costumes were spectacular, comedian was hysterical. Your web-site was easy to use and the discount was great!!! I recommend this show to all. Its an uplifting spiritual experience....

"VERY HUMBLE Entertaining!"
December, 2018 NEW
This show had great choreography with artist and dancers changing costumes continuously and the background of the stage changing some 3 times. The pace of the program was good. Greg Rowles, the host is always so humble with the message the show is trying to get across. Vocalist were good with the exception of two who were outstanding and moved me with their performance. Grant Turner, the comedian was entertaining. I appreciate them recognizing the children and our VETERANS and most of all, my LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS throughout the show. I will certainly attend again and recommend the show to all! Well worth the money!

Tip: Don’t bother buying the ‘orchestra’ seats as they are no better than the cheaper ones. It’s a fairly small auditorium . Enjoy !

"Why go to Broadway"
December, 2018 NEW
The production was everything you would expect from a Broadway show and more. No need to go through the hassel of NY City. Small town venue with great talent and unbelievably entertaining content. My favorite parts of the show were the Rick Motel segments. He was hilariously funny. He brings laughter to you and does not offend with crude humor. Such a refreshing feeling to be truly entertained. If it was possible, I would go to these shows on a monthly basis. Keep up the good work Alabama Theatre you have nailed it, bravo!!!!!!!

Great show. She was truly amazing. Sounded just like Patsy. Ushers seated us right away. No seat is a bad seat. All are very good. Did think the intermission was a little long but still not bad. Will go back to see other shows.

This was our second visit to this theater, this time for the Christmas Show. Again, it was an impressive presentation, with excellent talent, exciting sets, and good music. Clean comedy interludes as well. You can bring the whole family here, of any age, and be well entertained.

"Greg Rowles' Delivers!!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed January 21, 2019 NEW
I recently attended Greg Rowles' Country and Gospel concert on Jan 11, 2019. I simply cannot say enough about this production! We have been to the One show and the Christmas show at the Alabama theatre and have always appreciated Greg's talents as an entertainer. But we were totally blown away by his solo production! In addition to being a gifted vocalist with a very wide range of musical talents and skills, Greg also proved himself to be an incredible storyteller, comedian, and writer. His ability to connect with the audience gave the show a special level of intimacy- despite the FULL HOUSE!! I found myself entertained from beginning to end- his self-effacing and genuine nature really showed as he shared personal stories; it brought tears to my eyes to hear him speak about the times he has overcome personal trials and how beautifully he expressed his love for his wife and family. Greg was also quick witted and charismatic. He had the audience in stitches more then once. He also gave a breath of fresh air to several gospel songs I hadn't heard in years- his personal take on them really showcased his gift to write and connect with the music in a special way. For me one highlight of the show was when Greg "played with his dad" (who passed away several years ago) using audio feed of his dad playing and singing a favorite song and watching as Greg faded in and finished the number- it was a beautiful tribute. I can't wait to come back to the theatre to catch this one again!! Highly recommend!!

"Greg Rowles Country & Gospel Special Friday January 11, 2019"

Reviewed January 19, 2019 NEW
I attended Greg Rowles Country & Gospel Special on Friday January 11, 2019. It was a wonderful show and Greg performed to a full house. His music was perfect, his backup band great and the stage setting was so appropriate. He talked about how he got started in the music business with his family when he was very young, how thrilled he was to win Star Search and then to get his job as emcee at the Alabama Theater. He shared a heartwarming testimony about his marriage to Brandee and his love of Jesus. He is a very talented musician with an incredible singing voice. I hope he decides to do a second concert, everyone loved this first one. If not, you can catch him at the theater heading up " The One Show" and "The Christmas Show". He is a very popular warmhearted man who helped me with his prayers and music as I was facing some delicate back surgery. He is loved by so many and I'm one of them.
