"Great location"
December, 2018
Hotel is huge and a little frayed around the edges, but has Old Town carnival right behind it and that was a nice surprise.

"Do not plan on arriving before 4pm to check in."
June, 2018
Called two days before arrival to get early check in. Was told with a fee we could check in early, which was fine. Get there can't check in due to our room wasn't ready. Told to keep coming back. At 3:45 pm it's still not ready which is suppose to be ready by 4 at the latest anyway for normal check in time.Room was dirty so we got a free upgraded room. The breakfast buffet is not worth the cost.

"Not worth the price we paid!"
June, 2018
The staff was very polite and welcoming. I was asked to pay an additional $10.22 in resort fees and I tried to pay with a credit card but their machine was down and I had to wait around 20-25 minutes for someone to fix it. When we entered our room, it smelled very musty. Everything looked outdated. My two young children complained of the smell the whole night. Saw two different signs posted about safety which gave an impression that the area was not safe. Ice machine on our floor did not work. The curtain did not close therefore people walking by could see in. This hotel was not worth the money we paid especially an extra $10 for a resort fee.

"Terrible"
April, 2018
I looked up the “hotel” online and was comfortable with the photos I seen but when I got to the actual room it was nothing like the photos posted. I felt like I was in a Motel. We just came from the park and it was late and didn’t want to keep the kids up looking for another room so I had to go to Walmart and buy sheets, pillow cases and blankets. The pullout couch couldn’t open because there was not enough room and it had stains. Worst stay I ever had. Another guest said she had to change her room 3 Times. Hope this review helps future guest

This "resort" is a 2 star property at best. That is not necessarily a bad thing. For $50 a night, if you're expecting a 4 or 5 star resort, then you are dillusional. They do a pretty good job with what they have to work with. It's an old Holiday Inn and still has much of the same furnishings from that era. It is a bit run down but we found it to be pretty clean and comfortable enough. The pool area is very nice, clean and well maintained. There is a nice little pool bar for adult beverages and snacks. There is a group of snowbirds that seem to dominate a small area of the pool but they are nice enough. The breakfast served in the small cafe is very good, resonably priced and you can have buffet or order from the menu, There is an onsite market with beverages and snacks and necessities and it is very convienient. The staff we had contact with, front desk at check in, wait staff at breakfast. bartenders and market cashiers were all friendly and competent. Houskeeping seems to do their best with what they have to work with, We were looking for a cheap quick getaway to somewhere warm and Seralago was adequate. we got our money's worth. They are not trying to be someting they are not. There was roof construction going on the whole time we were there which was annoying but you can't hold it against them when they are trying to make improvements. I would not hesitate to go back and would comend it to others as long as they understood what exactly they were paying for.

Had many amenities....this is a better motel for families with smaller children...micro and fridge, maybe older teens. Seralago Hotel is a motel that is showing its' age. Door lock failed while I was there and hair drier failed. Clean room, odd smell. Beds were above average. Sprawling property makes for a long walk to the pool. Magic show provided on Mondays. They televise it to the rooms from their small theater on CCTV. Try Seralago
