"Grab a Gatorland's Screamin' Gator ZipLine!"
October, 2018
Truly one of the best and most memorable moments in our lives! From my 68 year old zipline-experienced aunt, to my never before ziplining brother ; and same for my 10 year old son. As for me, who because of this amazing experience, is no longer afraid of heights or ziplining...when can we do this again?!?!

Tip: Definetly get to Gatorland 30 min. prior. Find a Gatorland employee, who will direct you to the zipline check-in. The zip line "tour guides" are excellent. They are experienced, professional, and put you at ease. They are also very conscientious about medical conditions. They asked my aunt, who has severe asthma, how she was doing, and watched her closely for any signs of having difficulty.

"Awesome views from the towers and lines"
July, 2015
We were in Orlando for a family vacation, me and my 2 adult daughters, neither of them have ever zip lined before. I've had a few opportunities to "zip like" back in the 80s with Army training (remember the slide for life?) but it wasn't anything like the commercial places today. Gatorland is actually a gator reserve, has multiple ponds segregating the sizes of the gators. I found it to be very educational and promote awareness for habitat and wildlife preservation. The park is organized around the pools with aviaries and snack bars imbedded within. There are plenty of shaded walkways so you're not constantly in the sun. The zip line depot is inside the park, where they take you through a safety briefing and film. An experiences guide (college age men and women) help you assemble the gear then off we went to the towers with a few others. These towers were above the treeline and we could see nesting osprey and crows in the tops of the trees. Looking down was impressive! The zip lines were fun, some short some long and we traversed several towers before ending the adventure. The entire trip took about 3 hours- starting from buyin the tickets to editing the park. The zip line tickets give you entrance to the park and you can stay there all day if you want, but you must to show up at the depot on time otherwise you may have to forfeit your ride. Great experience and I highly recommend to novice an experiences zip liners. Safe for kids!!

"Hidden gem of a florida"

If you are visiting Florida you must visit Gay or land. Whether you like animals or just want to discover the real Florida this is the place for you. Though they cost extra, I would recommend you do the gator feeding, gator jumparoo training and the gator zip line. All of these offer a one of a kind of experience, though they may need a bit of courage to master. Never fear, there are not only gators but Panthers, birds, snakes, fish, goats and even possums and raccoons. Never fear the price of the excursions are fairly cheap and you can pay for a photo package at the entrance, that allows you get all of these images on a memory stick for a mere $35 (if you do everything, you would end up with around 100 images). All in all I think visiting gator land is a priority for any traveler. Please subscribe and like my post.

Overall it's a very neat place. My son loved it. It's a money pit though. Typical for a tourist attraction. If you want to see everything, I recommend getting there early. We arrived around noon and were there till it closed at 5pm. We didn't get to see the shows except for the very last one. Only problem I had was with the staff in the shop next to the zip line room. The woman asked if I had a question. I asked her where the show was that you can get a picture sitting on the gator for my son. She rolled her eyes at me! A customer had to tell me instead. If it wasn't for her attitude, I would give it 5 stars. Overall, it was a lot of fun.

"Great animal experience for an affordable price"

This is probably the most affordable attraction in the Orlando area that you can spend a day with young kids at. It's an extra $2 for unlimited train rides and an extra $10 per person if you want to do the swamp buggy one time. The shows are informative and entertaining but do have a little bit of a redneck spin to them. My personal favorite was the gator wrestling. There are plenty of alligators and some crocodiles but there are also snakes, birds, giant tortoises, a petting zoo and other animals to see as well. My 2.5 year old son got to ride the train many times, got to feed tortoises, and loved the swamp buggy ride. He had as much fun here as he did at sea world and the magic kingdom for 1/3 of the price.

Nice day out not too expensive if you just stick to the norm but can be a bit more costly if you do the extras, really enjoyed our day and the staff were great and go out of the way to make you visit enjoyable
