"Big bus in SFO"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

Well, I’ve done this big bus tour in many different city’s in the world, and I have to say it surprise me it is only in English and is not recorded. For some of the tour guides you barely understand due to accent or fast speaking. As well, I found it very expensive for what you get. In the night tour we were freezing, it was raining so no possible to use upper deck meaning all the tour me and my partner had to do it standing along with more people.

Disappointed we couldn't get back to Union Square from Pier 35/Stop 19 when daytime bus schedule stopped at Fisherman's Wharf for the day, however we should have caught the earlier bus I guess! Walked a short distance to get the cable tram back to Union Square instead -double up on transport costs for the day. Otherwise a great way to get around and see the main sights, particularly the Golden Gate Bridge. Premium/2 day ticket with extra tours was great value. We used the Sausalito tour (after stopping in Sausalito for lunch) to get to the south end of the bridge, walked across the bridge, and then got back on the hop-on hop-off bus to return to downtown. Audio tour very informative.

"Quick and convenient SFO city sightseeing"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

I used the hop-on/hop-off bus so as to get the bird's eyeview of how the area looks like while I am in SFO. My consideration primarily is that it is easier for me rather than spending more time and energy and battery consumption of my mobile phone to plan where I am going next/distance/ transportation, I would rather pay extra and check out the sights and less time looking at my electronic device. If you have a short stay in SFO or longer one, I recommend using the hop/on hop off city sightseeing to get a grasp/acclimatise yourself in the area.
