ive went on the 5D theater twice and its a nice alternative to some of the other attractions at the beach. the only negative thing i would say is it doesnt last very long. about 20 min.but still fun just wish for the cost they could either add one more show or make the two they show longer.

"Like being in a car accident!"
April, 2016
While we love the Ripley's museum, the 5D Moving Theater was TERRIBLE! The seats we're very hard and jerked violently from side to side so fast and hard that it actually Hurt you! I'm not kidding, it was very literally like getting assaulted. Such a shame because Wonderworks Myrtle Beach and the Ripley's in Niagara Falls do not hurt like this. There's something wrong here when you go for a fun experience and you literally end up sore afterwards. They need to have their engineers fix this or update the theater with a better system.

The first space movie had no story line whatsoever, that I could tell. The Santa story was better but barely. The seats were very jerky so much so that within the first 30 seconds I decided that it was better for me to hold my head up off the headrest. If you're seated up front, the snow is falling mostly behind you. Definitely not worth a second trip.

This place was awful!! Grimy, dirty, and just plain gross. Place looks like it hasn't been cleaned since the 90s. Seats were super uncomfortable and in need of some oil. Chairs were sqeeking and so nosiy. The movies were terrible and very uninteresting. The "snow" was soap bubbles and way to much of it!! I do not recommend this place to anyone.

My 8 year old grandson loved this ride (as did I). He was screaming and yelling with excitment. Not only do the chairs move, they also include physical affects that make this so much fun.

This was neat to do. I don't think it will be something that I will do everytime I go to the beach but I think everyone should try it once. Pretty cool. The most exciting part was when asked to take off your 3D glasses and put them in the bin after the ride. I did as instructed. Walked across the street to where my wife and 2 year old was eating ice cream. Sat there for about 30 minutes and went to walk outside and pulled down my shades from on top on my head and everything was in 3D. I panicked due to I have just downsized from a $200 pair of Costas to maybe a $5 pair of 3D glasses. I threw the wrong pair in the bin!!!!! As everyone in my party was laughing at me, I was dodging cars trying to get across the street. As soon as they saw me they started laughing and said they knew I would be back. A BIG SIGH OF RELIEF and a BIG THANK YOU to the staff for seeing that I left them and putting them up for me. Thanks!!!
