"This Was Not Fun!"

There is so much Ripley’s could have done with a Zombie Lazer tag! The zombies could have been more visible, the images were just gross, it was so dark you couldn’t see where to walk, shooting things didn’t even do anything, and there is no reason for the laser guns really. Maybe this place was just starting out? Maybe I just didn’t get it. My 2 boys are 9 & 10 and we thought it would be cool, but it was just a flop of weird, dark and scary.

Tip: If you like gory scary haunted dark houses, this is a thriller for you, but if you like laser tag, this is a no go.

Not worth the money. Hardly any targets to hit. We never encountered the giant zombie at the end. Very disappointed.

"Spooked the girls"

We went on purpose in the afternoon since we had two younger pre-teen girls. They were freaked out, cool effects and would love to do again at night.

"Good, and met expectations"

I don't freak out or scare daughter may have pee'd her pants with this place, so set expectations accordingly. They have all the things you'd expect: almost blacked-out halls, weird stuff coming from the ceiling, and employees who will jump out at you (but never touch you). Must admit, I knew the guys wielding chain saws had "toothless" (safe) chain saws, but that part could scare the pants off others. Our 10-year old was just fine going through. No one under 8 can/should go through. Must have an adult for anyone under 12.

I am close to the senior level in life and my idea of fun is starting to change a little. AUGH! However, this place made me laugh a lot. I even got fooled and scared a few times. (Not admitting this to anyone else.) However, it was worth the cost of entry and we did have a good time.

"Terrific Staff"

If you’re looking for an intense, adrenaline-boosting zombie-themed attraction, go here. We were hoping for more laser tag and less of the above, but that doesn’t detract from the caliber of the attraction. The staff is also really terrific and understanding when your party needs to “tap out” early in the process. Word of advise to stay with your group because the slower ones will miss the interactions with the actors.

My husbands choice. The lady that gave instructions once inside definitely didn't want to be working that day. It was VERY dark inside but scary..not so much.

The haunted house itself needs work. They should do away with laser tag. The guns are heavy and I feel they are a distraction and can be dangerous. One girl actually got hit in the face (accidentally) with one by another in the group. However, the actors were terrifying. The guy with the dreads scared the bejeebers out of us. He was dragging and banging a shovel around and you never knew where he would be. I swear there were two or three of him. He seemed to be everywhere. (Twins?) Then when we thought he was gone, lo and behold he is chasing us with a chainsaw! The girl with the black and white hair was terrifying. I may never sleep again. Every time I close my eyes I see hers. Lol. Her makeup and costume was amazing and horrifying. I don't know who does the makeup on the zombies and characters, but dang! It's amazing. It must take forever, but so worth the experience of terror you give us, your customers (or fresh meat as they see us) The entire experience was exciting and fun. All of the staff were fantastic. Thank you Ripley's for a great time for all.
