Description

from Ripley's Believe It or Not! Orlando Odditorium
The Orlando Odditorium appears to be sinking into one of Florida's infamous sinkholes. For over 40 years Robert Ripley, the modern Marco Polo and the real-life Indiana Jones, traveled the world collecting the unbelievable, the inexplicable and the one-of-a-kind. All of it is amazing and much of it extremely amusing. His collection is housed in over 27 museums in 10 countries. Each museum's collection is 90% unique and different. As Ripley's ghost says ..."Come in... look around... and see if you Believe It or Not!"

"A Great Way to Spend a Few Hours!"
April, 2018
My grandson (7-years-old) loves to look through Ripley's Believe It Or Not books. What better way to spend a few hours with him in Orlando, FL? He especially loved the hand-on things - trying to grab the gem was his favorite!!

Tip: All of the stuff is in the books, but it is fun to see it in person. A great way to spend some down-time.

So hard to please a 12 year old and he really enjoyed the visit! His mother and grandmother had a great time also. We were silly at times and yet we really looked at everything. It was especially fun to see a statue of Robert Wadlow, the tallest man, since he is from my home town.

This is great for a rainy day and especially if you don’t want to visit the overcrowded parks. The only thing is that this place requires you to have a group with patients. Take your time and read and be interactive with the activities. I wouldn’t recommend this for smaller children. It’s a mini museum for oddities and weird things in history. I also wanted to see a part of the Berlin Wall and teach my children about what building walls could do to a society. Plus learning about other cultures help to teach my children about not being egocentric. This place brought different cultures to us here in the middle of Florida. The only thing is that you have to open your minds to learn.

"Expensive!"

Over priced. The best thing about it was they had things to read in the bathroom stall. I don't see a point of visiting here, unless you really want to see a gorilla made of tires, Beyonce made of candy, Michael Jackson on a match stick. They also need better signage for the elderly before the room with the pool table, very uneven floor.

Spent a couple of enjoyable and interesting hours here. Some fun exhibits and lots of hands on things for the kids. It’s pricey if you pay door price I feel but lots of coupons available locally.

There were too many people in a small space and not too much to see or do. Very over priced for what you get.
