Not much here, the Georgia Aquarium has us spoiled. There's literally one tank of fish/sharks. You walk through on a belt!

"They, also, had fish!"
January, 2019
The Ripley's Aquarium is a fun and informative attraction. While we were there, they had the Pearl Harbor exhibit on display. We loved walking through the history of the 2nd world war, it was very interesting. Oh! And they, also, had fish, sharks, eels, jellyfish, and so many other sea creatures. It was fun for the whole family.

"A “Must See” attraction"
January, 2019
We took my son, his wife, their 2 and 4 year old kids and our daughter to the Aquarium on Christmas Day and it was one of our highlights on our visit to South Carolina from the Midwest. We spent about 4 hours there and we all marveled at how fascinating this place was. Even the grandkids were enthralled. This place is awesome, especially at Christmas time.

"Fantastic!"
December, 2018
I went to Ripley’s Aquarium 30 years ago and have wanted to go back—well, on Christmas Day I got my wish!!! It’s such a magical place! Close up viewing of sharks, sea turtles, saw fish, sea horses and the list goes on! Pictures through the glass turn out perfectly! The shark tunnel is my favorite! The personnel are friendly and helpful. There are places to pet jelly fish and the ray pool! All accesssable by ramps and a moving side walk! The gift shop has gifts for the budget seakers as well as high end gifts. Children and those that love the ocean (I’m a 70 year old child! Lol!) will love this place!!! I sure do! Don’t miss it-it’s fantastic!

Highly recommend going after 7 pm! Seemed as if we had the whole place to ourselves and makes the experience, especially for the kids, much more enjoyable and educational! Staff were super friendly and willing to entertain all my kids’ questions! Not a huge aquarium but definitely worthwhile if you go during the off times when not too crowded.

Spring break was breezy and cool. When the beach is out, the aquarium was great. Actually it would be wonderful anytime. Very clean and welcoming. Amazing variety of sea life. Hands on exhibits too. Very nice discount for veterans and active duty military. Resorts will provide vouchers, but to get the military discount you need to go directly to ticket booth.

"Well done"

Thought it was pricey, even without the local discount. However, it’s very well done and the kids had a good time. Seems it probably survives on tourist traffic because it’s pretty small, though they’re adding a penguin experience.
