Much more than I thought it would be. We spent all day there. Feeding the birds, taking pictures of them and having them on your hand, shoulder and head. The gardens are beautiful with birds everywhere, We had birds sing, dance, talk and copy us. We did this the first day and it was the best we did all week.

"Going to the birds"
June, 2018
I love my visit. This is the 3rd time I have been here and I love it every time. I feed the parrots and get to interact with them. Then I go feed the Lorys. It's not an expensive attraction and well worth it. I will be going back.

Tip: Get the ticket for feeding the Lory's at the ticket booth. At least get one picture because those birds you get pictures with are so sweet

This place was better than we expected. It was beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful. We spent a couple hours looking at all the gorgeous birds, pretty plant life, and reading life-giving scriptures placed around parrot Mountain. We are glad to have included this in our vacation!

"Birds understanding humans"
May, 2018
It was an experience that I really loved. I would absolutely do it again!! The birds are soooo smart and beautiful. They really understand us. I'm a big fan of George. He just laid his head on my shoulder and let love on him. He is a umbrella cockatoo. I am now looking for one to make their fore8home.

The whole mountain top is gorgeous and serene. The parrots and other exotic birds are so well kept and beautiful. My daughter and hubby and I spent several hours here and didnt really want to leave, especially the center area. It was so neat getting to meet, touch, and hold so many beautiful birds. The staff is wonderfully kind and helpful and clearly care a great deal for these birds. This was a wo derful experience. We will be back!

"So many beautiful birds!!!"

We visited in March on Spring Break. The kids loved it! There were so many gorgeous birds to see, I never knew there were so many different colors. We even saw pink parrots! The kids got to hold and feed them. The staff offer you a picture with your group with all of you holding birds. They put birds on our shoulders and arms, and my son was holding one laying on it's back. So cool! Well worth visiting!!!

There is an opportunity to feed the birds sunflower seeds and nectar. Lots of opportunities for pics. The walkways are paved, however, a bit steep in some places.

My husband and I decided to visit during our weekend trip to Gatlinburg and absolutely loved Parrot Mountain!! Entry to the park will cost you about $20 each and pics start around $20 for individual or group. It was a beautiful day, and we we’re able to walk around the resort to see all the birds that were out and active, many of which are rescues. The staff was friendly and knew so much about the birds, how to care for them and even knew the birds individually. I learned so much! This is a great place to visit with kids, as they get to hold and take pictures with the birds- just remind them to be gentle! :) Plus, if you decide birds are for you, you can purchase one at the nursery.
