Great luau with many activities for the whole family. Test your warrior skills with spear throwing (O`o `ihe) and rolling stone disks (Ulu Maika) or if you're feel crafty, string a strand of flowers to wear. Ride in an Outrigger Canoe around the Cove and partake in the Hukilau to add to your fun filled evening. Purchase the transportation to avoid driving in traffic.

from Paradise Cove Luau
Serving Hawaii's malihini (guests) and kama'aina (locals) for more than 20 years, Paradise Cove is one of the largest and most respected luau shows in Hawaii. Located at the beautiful Ko Olina Resort on the leeward coast of O'ahu, Paradise Cove features brilliant sunset views from our 12-oceanfront acres.

A tropical Mai Tai greeting and live Hawaiian music set the festive mood of the evening. Casually stroll through the Hawaiian Village and learn the Arts & Crafts of the islands or test your skills at our Hawaiian Games.

After the delightful Shower of Flowers, participate in the Hukilau on the Beach and learn the net fishing techniques of old Hawai'i. Witness the pageantry of the Royal Court Procession and the time-honored techniques of underground oven cooking at the Imu Ceremony.

The evening continues with a feast in the company of friends, old and new. Bring your appetite to fully enjoy Paradise Cove's extensive menu which tastefully blends the best of traditional Hawaiian dishes, local favorites, and continental cuisine.

With the most spectacular Hawaiian sunset as a backdrop, our award-winning performers will entertain and amaze you with an unforgettable display of songs and dances of Hawai'i and Polynesia at the incomparable Paradise Cove Extravaganza.

"Love the Luau"
December, 2018
Paradise Cove Luau was great, there was allot of fun things to see and experience. The cooking pit and fishing net cast were only a few. They made head dress crowns and wrist flower bands for the ladies. The food was great and that was topped off with and exciting Hawaiian dance. The fire twirler was the main show and what a show. This was my second time there and I will go again.

We arrived late because of air flight delays, but it was still very welcoming and a great show and meal. Too bad we did not get there earlier.

"Not as much fun as it was 30 years ago on our honeymoon"
November, 2018
Luau seemed less authentic and a bit more commercialized than it was 30 yrs, ago (from the welcoming greeting, some of the activities to the departure). We also enjoyed the activities much more at our first Luau at Paradise Cove: tug of war- rope pulling in the ocean, open bar etc, The stage show was somewhat drawn out in the beginning but the 2nd half of the show was more entertaining. Overall, it was good but not great and definitely not worth $120,00 per person. Would not do it again!!

My husband and I didn’t have the kids with us. Food was good but everything else boring and drawn out. Over 6hrs of our holiday we will never get back ?? pickup at 3.30pm waiting on the bus to enter, waiting in line to get in. Get in and the next couple of hours spent looking at/participating if you wish trivial, limited activities. Some provided by locals you have to pay for. PC provide spear throwing, how to throw a fish net & real it in and how to tie a sarong ?? locals for a price will provide other things ie; henna tattoos & photo with macraws. When it came to the show at least 1/2hr was spent wishing/ congratulating birthdays, anniversaries, weddings etc. I thought the main show was average and I was disappointed because I expected to learn a lot about the culture and more of a story behind the dances and was very dissapointed.
Then we sat again on the bus for over 1/2!hr before it left.
Not really about the money, I just would have liked to be more culturally fulfilled by this experience, not bored ??

This was our second time to this particular Luau for some and others the first in our group. We chose this one over some others because of the different activities on the grounds. Kids and adults alike could participate. While the show was typical it was different from the first time we had visited and di not disanoint. The food was plenty and with the Deluxe tickets we had service right at our table that was perfect. If you have never been to a luau, this is the one I would pick. There is a little something for everyone. I will tell you it is not stroller friendly even though they will tell you to bring one. The sunset view makes this a must see.

Our tour guide was Cousin Emma. She was most gracious, informative, and made the bus ride from Waikiki Beach very interesting and fun. Our family group of eleven included five children ages 7 through 14. Emma met each of us at the bus, asked each persons name, and from that moment on she addressed each of us on a first name basis throughout the entire Luau event! Amazing!! This was an absolutely wonderful evening! Gaylan L

My second Luau. It was a lot of fun and memories with family. The site was beautiful. It was a good show, alcohol drinks plentiful 🍹. Lots of pre-show activities and some credit on either drink purchases or memorabilia. The food was not that good but it’s really about the experience. I would definitely suggest for large parties of friends or family.

"Just another Luau"

The scenery was stunning, our bus host was fantastic - she made the evening by looking after our needs and entertaining us at the venue and on the bus both ways. The activities were ok, as in, they were just a token - here have a quick go and move on. We purchased the mid-range option (Orchid) and it was NOT worth the money. The food was average, the show was average - the price - WAY above average. Overall the night was ok, but certainly not memorable - a very expensive family night out considering what was offered. Shop around before you buy!!

We booked our luau through our amazing concierge at our hotel The Royal Hawaiian and he did not disappoint us. From the moment we got on our shuttle which was a short walk to the hotel next door we had an amazing time. We laughed, played games and had so much fun on the way there and back and while we were actually at Paradise Cove. They did a great job of entertain us the entire time. You will not be in and out so be prepared to hang out, PARTICIPATE in the activities and have some MAI TAIS!!!
