"Great Stay"

My family went to Legoland and we were in love soon as we walked in the door . Everything was clean and set up nicely. The children enjoyed the peacocks walking around outside

"Nasty, roof leaked on bed, Moldy stink."
April, 2018
Nasty, Roof leaked on bed. AC didn't work. moved us to a new unit the next night. Cleaner but still nothing to cook with. NO washcloths. Paid extra for maid service but didn't happen until the last day after calling twice to complain then they didn't leave us any towels or washcloths. In the second room the shower leaks and get the hallway carpet wet. The only positive thing that I can say is that the Breakfast buffet was good.

Tip: Old, Nasty and run down. Find another place to stay. Shuttle to the park is a joke. Only makes 1 run a day. 10:30 am and return 10:30 pm for the magic kingdom. You have to call 24 hours in advance to even have a chance at a seat.

I was sent here by a travel agency as part of a resort tour promotion. They said they were remodeling and the reviews were great. They were not truthful. The staff was great overall but had an issue with my family visiting who were also traveling in the area and tried to charge me for them coming over. The Villa I had was worse than any I've ever stayed in; the property was poorly maintained and I've been traveling to Orlando every year for 15 years. It was so outdated and even had 2 fat box TV's! A lizard came into our Villa from under the door and we never caught him. I didn't like sitting on the furniture and put sheets down because it looked old. The peacocks were beautiful but pooped everywhere, along the walkways and were in the process of mating which made horrible, loud noises - they also sat outside the doors too and were not afraid of humans lol.

"Staff is friendly at least, numerous problems with unit"

I’ve stayed here before, I knew walking in it wasn’t a five star, but I still had a disappointing time. To start with the positives, I attempted before we went to stay in contact with the resort. I had a number of requests that they attempted to give me. Although I did ask for an updated two bedroom apartment, and did not receive one. They were great at check in, and allowed supplies and luggage to be dropped off before we arrived. When we checked in, we were sent to building fairly close to the pool, but things started going sideways right away. The apartment smelled musty and the place hasn’t been updated in many years. It had a lot of rusty appliances and lots of stains. It was a two bedroom, two bath, with a living room, dining room, kitchen, and washer/dryer room. Here were the problems in the first 48 hours: Metal in the garbage disposal Stained towels Both bathtub drains plugged Washer wouldn’t spin clothes Dryer wasn’t able to dry clothes TV remote in living room was broken Dishwasher detergent dispenser broken Dishwasher knobs broken Smell from fridge We had to deal with some of the problems, but staff did their best to fix things as we reported them. They offered for us to move to another unit, we tentatively agreed but wanted to look at it first. The new unit was the same and looked like it had the same problems as the one we were in, so we didn’t bother. Be aware the walls are thin, and we had more than one problem with loud neighbours. One night we captured a large cockroach inside the unit (with a glass and lots of screaming). We brought it to the front desk and they stated they would spray our unit. I’ve always liked the pool and hot in here, but it was different this time. We complained 5 times about the low water level of the hot tub, to which they always said they would talk to maintenance, but it would only get water occasionally. They have lots of staff which is good, but some of their equipment is in need of serious garbage by woke us up every morning driving around a truck on the grounds with no muffler and squeaky shocks. We complained three times about it, but to no avail. Any day we wanted to sleep in and not go to the parks, there was always a guy with a leaf blower at 8am.... sigh. There is also a fire department beside the resort, and it must go on a call every ten minutes, there are constant sirens. Our A/C crapped out and had maintenance come and fix it. We were told the equipment is original and probably 35 years old. I decided to look at the filter..... wish I hadn’t. Enough said. We were given a few comp breakfasts, and most of the staff were really friendly and tried to help, but this place has become too old and rundown. Unfortunately, after ten years, we have decided to let the sun set on OP resort as our place to stay while in Kissimmee. I hope the best for the resort, and hope someday they turn it around.

Sincerely the worst hotel I have ever visited. I'm an experienced traveler and I would not bring my family here again. Everything was dirty and unclean. Sink was full of hair and clogged. The sink was leaking. The sofa bed was super uncomfortable. The microwave did not have a plate. Truly shocked by how terrible my stay was. 100% do not recommend!!!
