"Zipline"
February, 2019 NEW
Fun Zipline as well as guides. We were not appowed water or our phones/cameras. We were not aware of this until arrival and I have a medical condition where I get dehydrated easily so it was provided. We are seniors but in good shape. This Zipline was advertised as family friendly so we figured it would be easy enough and we have done this before.

Tip: Almost every Zipline required climbing a ladder. The kids climbed easily but the ladders made from bamboo & rope wobbled all over and I was afraid my 83 year old husband wasn’t going to make it up the last couple. Instead of our photos we were told they had a professional photographer on hand to take photos along the course. We would have great photos! I consider this an “up sell” but what do you do at this point? At the end we went inside to look but they were mixed in with everyone else’s and done like a quick moving slide show. My husband was so exhausted we left without purchasing since we were told the photos would be available on a site to see for 90 days and we could purchase anytime before that. Yet, when I tried to look at my photos I was told I had to look first. It has been 2 months since I briefly glanced at photos flashed on a screen and they want me to purchase, basically, sight unseen. This is “upswell” bait and switch” whatever you want to call it, but tourists are not allowed to take pictures, although we had nice deep pockets that sealed so nothing would fall out. Then they want us to pay for a professional photographer who won’t show her work till we pay first. According to the owners, if they put the photos up for the buyers, the buyers steal them. Plenty of photographers do this, so apparently they haven’t figured out how to secure the website, but they can take $$. If you do this Zipline, just know it will cost you a whole lot more! I can’t download a pic to show because I don’t even have one.

Spent a couple of hours at NorthShore Zipline having some heart-pounding fun with the whole family. David, Micah and Steve were excellent guides, great sense of humor and always with an eye out for everyone’s safety and enjoyment. The group ranged from 10 years old to grandparents, and they did a great job with all ages and comfort levels. The course includes 7 ziplines, suspended bridges, ladders, increasing in height and difficulty as you go. Keep this in mind as it may not for everyone, but my family loved it!

Stopped at a local travel store in Lahaina and they mentioned this place. They were booked full, but opened up a late 4:30 spot for our group of 5. We had so much fun and our guides Caleb and Cody were outstanding! Friendly, funny, and very reassuring. We paid an extra $50 and got about 50 photos that were really well done. They have a small museum that keeps you entertained as you wait. Our first time zip lining and these folks were real pros in all aspects. Highly recommend!

I was pushed off a set by one of the guides, I was not happy at all. They had a scaredy cat clause that you get a refund, it never happened.
