Fairly standard Hilton level of service in a very large and busy hotel. The rooms were a bit tired but clean and serviceable. Could have done with some complimentary refreshments (what is it with the U.S. that these never come as standard?). As others have pointed out it comes with a local tax so factor that into costs. Breakfast a bit irritating. Restaurant or a coffee bar. The latter struggles to cope with the size of the hotel and some staff were slow. Location is excellent and it trades on this. Would use again for functionality but it won't set you alight.

Be prepared for the lines when visiting this hotel during the Xmas /New Year period ! Hotel is quite large and has a steady flow of people checking in but rooms are clean certainly was able to find a few members of staff that were helpful to make up for the ones that weren’t but the location is really great !

Love this hotel! The beds are comfy, the staff are very friendly and I love the location. I requested extra towels during my reservation and they were in our room waiting. Digital keys with the Hilton app are awesome to avoid lines at check-in. Centrally located within walking distance to Central Park, Broadway and Times Square.

After a long flight delay getting to JFK we arrived at 5:00am to check in. First the front desk agent could not locate my reservation, then he could not see that we booked executive lounge access. All we wanted is to get to our room and get some rest so we could start our vacation. The front desk agent was professional but not overly friendly as we have come to expect from Hilton so this was starting off our trip on a downer. He also did not mention that they had already charged me a no show charge and at a higher rate than my room rate (ended my trip on a downer). With all that aside here is the rest of my review of the hotel, staff, and experience. Room - Booked premium corner room & picked my room on the mobile app. this is a must do and so fun. The room was perfect. View of the park and 6th street. Very clean, great size, bog TV, mini fridge, storage, safe. No damage furniture, all good. Bed - needs its own section. We slept soooooooo good on these beds. I want the bed and the pillows for my house. LOVE the beds! Housekeeping Staff - We came back the first day and it felt like we had just arrived. The room look immaculate. The second day not all of us made it out of the room but she checked on us multiple times to see if we needed anything. Was very nice and understanding. We did need to call later in the evening for toilet paper and the brought that up and called for maid service (it was so late and they still came to clean the room) AMAZING!! Again this new housekeeper was so sweet and wanted nothing more than to help us. We felt very cared for by the housekeeping staff. Please give them all Kudos especially the one working the 34th floor this last week and the one working the late shift. Thank you thank you thank you!! Concierge staff - A few plans fell through on our last day and the kids were so disappointed. I visited the concierge and she gave me suggestion of ice skating at Bryant Park (HUGE WIN!!) and dinner at Haru that we all loved. Thank you for both of these suggestions. We would not have ventured to either without your help. Executive Lounge - Morning time the woman working the desk was very serious and stern. Each morning there was a line to get in. Was a little off putting especially when you just want a coffee to go. I think the morning and afternoon food options can use with a little variety but overall was good. Your afternoon gentleman was top notch!! He was helping everyone, very approachable, remembered us when we returned. Great service!! Hotel - Great location, beautiful lobby, elevators were quick, we loved having the bars and coffee shop right there in the lobby. When we return to NYC (not in the winter) we will be staying here again.

I had an overall good experience. Great location, clean and modern rooms. The not so good things were the extra charges even to keep your luggage in the concierge and that there was not the usual room service available. Out of that, the experience was in line with my expectations.
