"This company knowingly violates local laws."

This company violated local laws on our tour including driving into Alamo square. It is illegal to drive passenger vehicles with more than 8 seats within a block of Alamo square. Our tour bus not only ignored the official drop off zone established by the 5 year old law but actually drove into Alamo square proper. There are plenty of tour company's in San Francisco, please choose one that doesn't purposefully ignore the laws and disrespect the city and its residents.

"Muir Woods = a must-do."

The Tower Tours pickup turned up at our accommodation exactly on time. Good start. Coit Tower and Lombard Street glimpses were afforded us on our way to TT's office at the corner of Beach and Market at Fisherman's Wharf. The tour to Muir Woods left right on time. We had a 10-minute stop on the North Side of the Golden Gate Bridge for a photo-op. Not much to see through the grey rolling fog, but them's the breaks. The Giant Redwoods in the canyon at Muir Woods are superb, grand, majestic (*consults thesaurus*). Thanks, President Roosevelt for signing the area over as a national monument! Do yourself a favour when in this part of the world, and take the Tower Tours bus trip to Muir Woods. We chose to leave the bus at Sausalito and join the (hundreds of) other tourists taking in this quaint little town. (The tour option was to either get off at Sausalito and catch a ferry, or stay on the bus to return to San Francisco. We did the former.) There are interesting little shops and galleries worth a look in Susalito. There are plenty of eating options. All packed full, of course. The ferry trip back to San Francisco gives the chance of some lovely bay and bridge views, as well as views of Alcatraz. Be warned, you will share the ferry ride with dozens of cyclists. Be prepared, it may be standing-room only on a late return to San Francisco from Sausalito. A great day. Well worth it. Friendly, funny, informative guide.

"Muir Woods tour exactly what I needed"

Had a fantastic afternoon on the Muir Woods afternoon tour. The bus driver was knowledgeable and witty and made the drive up there and back a pleasure. Of course Muir Woods is wonderful, but the service and comfort there and back and the ease of entry to the park was a wonderful bonus. Thank you, will do this tour again next time I want to go there!

Tour started on time. after about an hour drive to Muir Woods which included a basic tour of San Francisco we were given 1.5 hours in the woods. Would have liked more time but it was advertised this way. There is a brief stop in Sausalito if you want to get off the bus and stay there, but then you need to find your own way back to san francisco
