from Mean Girls
MEAN GIRLS is now a ferociously funny new musical from director CASEY NICHOLAW (Aladdin, The Book of Mormon), JEFF RICHMOND ("30 Rock," "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt"), lyricist NELL BENJAMIN (Legally Blonde) and book writer TINA FEY ("30 Rock," Bossypants).
Cady Heron may have grown up on an Afrian savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Caddy devises a plan to end Regina's reign, she learns the hard way that you can't cross a Queen Bee without getting stung.
Produced by Lorne Michaels, Stuart Thompson and Paramount Pictures, MEAN GIRLS gets to the hilarious heart of what it means to be a true friend, a worthy nemesis, and above all, a human being.

I took my daughter to see this and thought I would just sit through it. But turns out I loved it!! This is so well done. The music is super fun. The set is so simple but so good. The story is updated to be relevant to today’s communication styles. I would see this one again.

This musical reminds you how cruel girls can be and how much people struggle to fit in. We all need to take this message to heart and remember to be inclusive, celebrate differences versus shunning them. This was a fun musical with some great sass!

If you have a teenage daughter, this is a must. Great show and excellent acting and dancing. One of the best musicals I’ve ever seen. So glad I took my 15 year old to see this. She is still glowing.

This was a wonderfully entertaining show that was worthy of 12 Tony nominations. The score was excellent with a number of melodies that will stick in you head. I especially loved the closing number "I See Stars." The choreography was original, love the lunch trays (you will get this if you see the show). The cast was also outstanding as well as the casting. Each character was played to perfection. You can also add some wonderful voices! Just a wonderful, enjoyable and fun production!!!

"Entertaining Show"

I really enjoyed the show and felt the cast did a good job, with the exception of Grey Henson who played Damian and who was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE and a definite standout for me! While I enjoyed the musical I felt it just didn't live up to the movie for me and the sound track let it down a bit; I felt the songs were a bit weak. Overall, it was enjoyable but I wasn't wowed.
