"WOW!!"
November, 2017
Wow! Literally all I can say! My son loves the zoo so I decided since I haven't took him to one in 3 years why not find somewhere in FL to take him. My wife and I traveled from CT and decided to check out this zoo. we weren't looking at the map because we wanted to let it all be a surprise. But let me tell you this zoo is huge. We noticed there was a little water park for children and I was actually in shock it was about 90 degrees and we didn't expect a water park to be here!! my son loved it he cooled down and played with other children. BTW the food here was delicious! Also we saw that you can feed the giraffes and rhino which was amazing!!!!!!!! also there's a little truck that can tour you around the zoo. Such a great experience for me and my family.

"Reunion Memories at Zoo"

It had been many years since my family had been to the Zoo- i’m Thinking about 12. It had changed totally! It was more like an amusement park; much larger, more wonderful creatures- more variety- clean- organized supremely-rides added(some for adults) and we (8 adults) had a wonderful day there. I was in a wheelchair (which we brought) and had no difficulty getting around to see all of the attractions. We especially loved the lorikeets who were delightful. Even the tiger and rhinos were actively moving around. The photographer who took our photo against the green wall knew her stuff and we have a great photo to remember our reunion. We spent about four hours there. The money was worth it.

Decided to try the Tampa Zoo on a recent trip. Was during spring break so there were a lot of children, but wasn’t too crowded. We walked the entire park and I was impressed. Not a zoo expert, but did get to see some amazing animals ( I love penguins) and the park seems well run. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a nice day.
