Great starter rides for little kids, super friendly staff. Amazing to see all the LEGO creations. And Cypress Gardens is a gem.

"Truly a kid’s park"
September, 2018
If you have kids from ages 4-12, this is a “must-go-park”. I have an 8-year old, Lego lover kid and he had a blast. As parents, nothing gives us more pleasure than to see our kids happy; and it was great.

"Great option for a non Disney Park Trip to Orlando"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed February 18, 2019 NEW
I spent a day at Legoland with my 3 kids ages (10, 7 and 6) during a recent Disney free trip to the Orlando area. We have traveled to Orlando and all of the Disney parks over 15 times, as my parents live in the area. This trip was all about enjoying resort amenities and thus were looking for something to do with the kids. If your kids are Lego and/or Star Wars fans, you will have a blast. Expectations are very important when visiting this park. They are not Disney, nor do they attempt to be. This is actually what our family loved most about our trip to Legoland. We've been to Disney and done that more times than most. We don't want to experience that again, but with Legos. We’re huge Lego fans and were looking to experience Legoland. Having said that: do your research and plan accordingly, in order to make the most out of your time at this park. We left our hotel in Orlando early and arrived before opening time. Tip: Get there early and secure a close parking spot. If you have someone with mobility issues, pay for preferred covered parking. It will be worth it. Study the map online prior to your visit. I found the paper map to be a bit difficult to follow in the hot Florida sun, so I was glad that we had spent time online looking at the layout of the park and planning our day. Our kids loved the Ninjago ride (much better technology, graphics and execution than toy story and with no wait time), my 10 year old loved The Dragon and the lack of wait times at any of the rides. I loved the return on investment and the ability to see and ride everything in one day, stroller parking that is not a nightmare and the miniland rocked. The food was actually affordable compared to Disney and they have coffee available throughout the park. They get that parents are their target audience. We stopped by the Legoland Florida Hotel just to check it out for a future visit. It looks like a great place for families with young children and any Lego enthusiast. It’s perfectly themed with Legos everywhere and a nice change from the other Orlando amusement parks.

"Fun for young and old"

Legoland has done a great job of making a visit interesting for kids and adults. The LEGO mini cities with its realistic representations of popular cities, etc., gets kids attention and makes adults wonder “how did they build that.” The different lands have an assortment of rides for the young, teens and adults. A visit to the LEGO store is a good opportunity to find some bargains.

"Don’t waste you’re money if your child is older than four. Still wouldn’t recommend it for anyone."

Very underwhelming place. My either year old was bored out of her mind. We bought a year pass, went yesterday and I’m calling for a refund.. it’s more of a museum than a theme park. If you are unfortunate enough to go do not eat at the “pizza pasta buffet” that’s a farce. I would rather eat little ceasars that place has nothing I would consider food and it’s $17.99 per adult $10.99 for children. We left a “buffet” hungry. There’s better options around the park.. that was our first and last time there. I would rather have a year pass for our local zoo which has a minimal amount of animals.

"Not impressed"

This place makes Disney look like a bargain! I was most disappointed with their hours, only open 10-5 on weekdays. And we bought tix online and then still had to wait in a super long line to receive paper tix, WTH! Boy was I mad since the park offers such limited hours. Most importantly, my son who is 6 loved this place but I’d say anyone over 7 or 8 would find it too babyish. Hubby and I were very excited to try the virtual reality coaster, until we walked up and noticed no one wearing the headgear. Asked the employee who said “no, VR has been broken for a week now, but you can ride it without”. Umm, no thanks looks super lame without! BIG disappointment there! Because of the limited hours and long wait to get in we felt very rushed to fit everything in by 5:00 and make sure our son got the full experience....cuz we don’t plan to ever come back!

This will be our one and only visit mainly because customer no service before my trip but also employees around the park(not all but quite a few) have been doing it too long. No longer have the excitement that you come to expect with Florida theme parks. Before the trip, we pre-bought our tickets knowing what day we were going able to do that...2 days after buying but still before we went they came up with a online sale that was like $10 more per ticket for a season pass, we inquired they said no even tried with their social media team and all they said was the company for pre-planning i get penalized. Great idea. Won't be back
