I didn't expect to have so much fun - but I did! We took our family there to celebrate our grandchildren's birthdays. It was priced really fair and there's a ton of different stuff to do. We got there early and rode rides then went to the see the Legos and to the Aquarium. It was a great time I will always cherish. Next time we'll stay another day and go to the waterpark too.

My husband and I took our son and his son for a fun day at Legoland, and were most definitely not disappointed at all! Our favourite ride was the submarine where we saw amazing animals up close. I couldn't tell who was more excited spotting them, my son or grandson!

After almost one year of sickness and treatment, I took my son and sister to the Legoland and I saw smile on my son’s face after a long time. He enjoyed his day and I found new life again. Thank you Legoland.

Purchased my tickets with reserve San Diego not knowing anything about the site. It was a good desicion as I got a better price than buying directly from Legoland and the tickets were great!

Very nice and amazing place for kids and others. We never feel to be in commercial park. Everything is built around intelligent games and we particulary appreciated the submarine place

It's hard to make an amusement park boring but they've done it. Even my 5 year old couldn't find anything fun. Every ride is slow, dull, and short. My 8 and 10 year olds liked one small rollercoaster but the lines were too long. Looks nice though.

My family have been visiting since my kids were babies. They are now 14 and 9; super hard to please! Yet, they still love LEGOLAND. My kids came home and booked their next trip back. Here’s the skinny on the Park’s latest and greatest: Behind the Scenes Factory Tour. It was “AMAZING” (per kids); the best value for our family. You can book through the VIP department.

My family of five (kids are 10, 8, and 6) visited in mid-February on a Tuesday. We used the GoSanDiego Card to get a small discount on our admission. We encountered several issues at Legoland and we left very early and will not be back. After parking (which is a ridiculous $22), we attempted to enter Legoland in the same manner as we entered all of the other locations we visited using our GoSanDiego Card, which was an electronic scan from my cell phone. They would not accept this. We had to go back and stand in a long line and wait at the ticketing counter (even though we already had tickets). Upon receiving a paper ticket, we got back in the long admissions line. The line we were in allowed many others ahead of us to enter with an electronic ticket. This sure was a bad way to start our Legoland experience, and we lost out on over 30 minutes in the park by waiting in these lines. After entering, we took the suggestion of the information booth attendant and headed for a roller coaster she specifically suggested based on the ages of our kids. We road it and the kids were extremely underwhelmed. To put it in basic terms, it was lame. They kept asking where the “real” roller coasters were. We decided to try the 4-D show instead. Again, we were very unimpressed. The 2 and 3 year olds around us were having fun, but Legoland advertises their park for ages 2-12. We attempted one more ride, and once again, we were disappointed. We decided to leave and go find something a lot more age appropriate for our children. If you have kids under 5, you might have fun. If not, I would steer clear. There are so many other things to do in the San Diego area that provide a lot more entertainment for kids and for a wider range of children. This was a huge disappointment and a waste of money for our family.

"Tanner the Terrific"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed February 20, 2019 NEW
Tanner Norfolk is completely and forever responsible for our AMAZING trip to Legoland, CA. He provided a jam packed day for our two grandchildren! Milo, age 4, celebrated his birthday and Rylan, age 8, conquered the roller coasters. Tanner provided a VIP experience that exceeded all expectations. Tanner has an intimate knowledge of the park so he planned easy routes for us to manage. He ANTICIPATED every wish throughout the day. For example, Tanner grabbed a double stroller and sure enough, little legs welcomed the occasional lift. Tanner also used a weather app and steered us to indoor adventures when the rain started. Tanner SHARED so many special stories about each ride or specific area in the park. Tanner WORKED to make the grown ups feel as welcome as the kids. Tanner and the VIP tour at Legoland made this a vacation to remember forever.
