Away from the busy beaches. Great place to stay.. Friendly staff clean and pleasant we will stay there again. Easy access. Unfortunately we were there during the winter storms and could not take advantage of all of the outside. Next time it will be summer.

Truly a perfect spot. We've been three times now, and aim to return every year. Excellent for families or couples. Superior service. Pools were cold in February. Restaurant is stunning, although the food is average. Overall, it's a gem.

"Quiet retreat"

Came here for an Anniversary getaway from LA with my husband and dog. Got a great Groupon rate! The location is tucked into an unassuming residential development but feels more secluded. The weather was bad during our stay so the lake was super muddy/brown, and the rain put a damper on our complimentary kayak and s'more plans, but we honestly didn't mind much. We requested a room on the second floor for early check-in and we were pleasantly surprised when we called on arrival morning and was told it was already available for check-in at 9am! This was awesome news considering the regular check-in time is 4pm. We also received a text message welcoming us, a sort of text "concierge" as they called it, which was nice. Plenty of parking available, included in the resort fee, and check-in was a breeze. They allow dogs up to 25 pounds for flat fee of $75 (as of 2/2019). The room itself, a pool view studio, was huge! Our dog loved the space to run around. The room was clean and modern, albeit sparsely decorated except for one giant fish above the bed. The ceiling was very tall with windows at the top which let in lots of light in the early mornings. Even though we technically had a pool view, we could see the lake as well along with the mountains and lots of palm trees. The WIFI and cable worked fine, nice toiletries, Keurig machine, mini fridge, good robes, absorbant (but a little rough) towels. The comforter was very light and I prefer heavier bedding. They even included a bottle of champagne and hand-written card for my husband and I! There are 2 large hot tubs and pools, which were well-maintained. We got to enjoy a dip in a hot tub the day we left, so nice! The only reason why I'm docking one star is for the food overall. We made reservations to eat at Dockside and had looked up their $20 3 course "sunset menu" which is offered on certain days of the week from 5-6pm. We had to request the menu as it wasn't offered to us originally. All of the food that was served was just "okay", it lacked that kick/flavor/quality, but for $20 it wasn't terrible. The cocktails were also not great, but the waterfront ambiance, service, and fun little light show on the water right out the window made up for it. BTW, the nightly light show is cute, but it's no World of Color. Likewise, room service food was okay, but always timely and convenient.

Our room was spacious and clean. We liked the memory foam bed a lot. We woke up with sunshine and the lake view where there were a couple of swans hanging out just outside of our room. My wife liked it a lot. We'll definitely come back for sure.

We stayed three nights and enjoyed out visit. The room was large, clean and nicely furnished. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our breakfast at The Decoy. We rented a kayak (at no extra charge) and paddled the length of the lake. All very nice.
