This was a very safe and fun zip line. If you are on the Kona side it is one of the only ones in the area. The others tend to be on the Hilo side. We did 9 zip lines and 5 suspension bridges. Our guides extremely professional and ensured our safety throughout the 3 hour tour. Highly recommend this.

Those are the words my 10 year old used to describe our zip line experience! My hisband and I agree. Professional, friendly, and fun from the start. Mike and Andre were wonderful. Views were both under the canopy and above trees...great variety and a beautiful setting. Thank you Kohala Ziplines!

My friend and I had such a good time on this trip! We had ziplining experience in Alaska, but this was just as fun: long, fast Ziplines with gorgeous views; fun, knowledgeable guides who kept us laughing and kept us safe; and bonding with a great group of people from all over! (Side note: you don’t have to bring a lot of stuff on this tour. The guides provide you with everything: Zipline gear, raincoats, food, water, snacks, towels, etc.) We did the Zipline and waterfall trip - it rained the whole second half, but that did not dampen the mood. Just be prepared for a muddy hike to the waterfall. The guides will take it slow and give you walking sticks and (even though the water was freezing) you have to jump in the waterfall - you’ll be happy you did. You can bring a small pack on the hike, so a change of shirt/shorts might not be a bad idea. We had such a blast! Special shout-out to Nick and Brent who made our trip so fun! (These guys need raises 😉) We’d definitely do it again - easy to learn if you’re a first-timer and super fun and entertaining if you’ve done it before. Well worth the $.

I just finished the zip and dip tour with Kohala Ziplines. This is a must for your Hawaii vacation. There are a bunch of zipline companies to choose from. If you’ve never ziplined, it might seem like they’re all the same. What makes the difference is THE PEOPLE! The guides on Kohala Ziplines make all the difference. When you book, demand to be in Curtis’s group. Well, only if you’re a chill, fun person. If you don’t like smiling, stay home. Ziplining is not nearly as scary as you think it is. There are more safety lines than you can imagine andrhe guides move them deftly and with good humor. It’s such a fun day. By the end of the day, another guest and I were saying that we weren’t sure if we had paid for the zip and dip experience, or just to hang out with Curtis all day. Because, the price would have been worth it either way. Morgan was equally joyful and entertaining, but unfortunately he didn’t come on the dip with us to the waterfall. (We missed you, Morgan!) seriously though, I can’t say enough about this experience. You can book any zipline on the island, but this is the only zipline you can book with Morgan and Curtis, and these guys are worth meeting. So much fun and good times were had by all. We’re all ohana now!
