Knotts is a really fun place to go if you like roller coasters, what I found interesting is on the map of knotts they also mention how much thrilling the ride is so you don’t have to go on one to know that, I think that’s a time saver!

Tip: They do not allow food inside but there are really good restaurants inside.

I purchased tickets fir Knotts Berry Farm, printed and went. It was really easy and saved $9 per ticket. You have a few days to use the tickets which was great because we ended up going on a different date due to rain.

"Great MLK Weekend getaway!"
January, 2019 NEW
Had a great time at Knotts this weekend and was there from morning to night! The rides were a BLAST - especially the steepest one in California! The only issue was the iPhone app that listed incorrect line wait times, but other than that, the park was easy to navigate and had plenty of activities.

Tip: Download the app anyway! It has a map & semi-correct wait times

We booked our tickets to Knott's Berry Farm through reserve Los Angeles and our day went really well. We received the online tickets right away and were able to scan them right off the mobile device. That was convenient. We had a great day at Knott's Berry farm at a very affordable price.

Tip: Mobile tickets are the way to go. Dress warm in December as there is a lot of shade and some water rides.

"Good roller coasters"

My kids and I had a great time at Knotts Berry Farm.
We purchased fast passes, which were expensive but well worth it as the lines really picked up in the afternoon.
The one criticism I have on the fast pass, was that many other people appeared to be getting into the fast pass line without a wristband - it was a group every ride, not an isolated event. I think there were to many exceptions given to to “friends of workers”. I think that KBF management should look into this as it could impeded me from future purchases.

"Not Knott's, but Knott's"
January, 2019
So, it was much different than I remembered. Not as many antiques and old-time items to browse, and the tilted house was gone as well as a number of other "ghost-town" attractions, but it was still fun. The park is smaller and very contained, so it was easy to cover the entire park in half a day. Peak times are very crowded, and the crowds are friendly, but it is a MUCH more casual environment than other places. No place to have a very upscale meal, everything seems to have outside seating and felt like a cafeteria. Only one location seemed to have indoor seating and had a very long wait. We just might go again and ride the rides, it was too crowded this last time, and we spent too much time looking for bathrooms ( which are not very private for the men - no urinal dividers) and searching for a place to eat. The directions to the bathrooms needs help, actually the whole park is hard to navigate when looking for something specific. However, it was still a fun place to visit and much less expensive ( and maybe why the crowd was so casual) than other parks. Worth the visit.

"All-Day Dining Over-Rated!"

While in LA on a recent family trip, we decided to spend a day at Knotts Berry Farm, as it was one of the best value of all the local theme parks. We chose the trip on a Monday which was MLK Day and as it was a public holiday, the queues were long and the park was very crowded. We booked the trip the night before and as a family of four (with two children) we decided to purchase the "All-Day Dining" option for 4 people as we had intended to be at the park all day. On the website, it stated we could have a meal every 90 minutes with "An Entree" and "A Drink" included in the deal. Upon arrival, we decided to have breakfast at 10am and was told at the first restaurant that the dining deal only included an Entree but not Drinks. That was a huge surprise to us and we were slightly annoyed and argued that it was not specified on their website that drinks were not part of the "All-Day-Dining" package. With four people walking around the park all day, our intention was to have food and drinks provided on site without having to worry about carrying additional stuff walking around the park! After a short argument, the staff said she would make an exception and gave us four drinks together with our food. We were given four wristbands to prove that we had purchased the dining deal throughout the day. 90 minutes later, we stopped at another diner with our wristbands and requested we only wanted four drinks without food as we were not hungry. Here again, the staff would not accept our request again reiterated that drinks were not included in the option. We argued once again and only requested for four cold drinks (as it turned out to be a hot day) without food. After some hesitation, we got four cold drinks without food. Our disappointment was this - we paid just over $120+ for FOUR "All-Day Dining" option for a family of four, to enjoy being at the theme park all day, entry tickets not included. It was specified on their website that the dining option included "An Entree" plus "A Drink" every 90 minutes. We felt it was wrong advertising and misrepresentation by the Park's website and felt that we had paid over the odds dining options (only at selected outlets) serving mostly fried chicken nuggets and french fries, pizzas slices and french fries, tortilla chips with toppings, mostly fast and processed food served at most theme parks. We had a day of fun despite the long queues at most of the attractions, especially the GhostRider, which had an over 2-hour wait for a 6 minutes ride! The most disappointing part of the day was the All-Day-Dining which was fast food sold at high prices and did not include drinks, which were specified on their website! Be Warned Visitors! Bring your own drinks and snacks for your visit and only opt to pay for the All-Day dining option if you are happy with only food being served and have to fork out extra dollars for drinks! Not cheap either! $16 for a souvenir bottle with endless refills all day!

While in the LA area with another couple, we decided to spend a day at Knott’s Berry Farm. Sadly, we went on the Monday of the MLK holiday. The lines were very long plus it was a cold, windy day. Our favorite part was the chicken lunch! We hadn’t been here in years, and probably won’t be back anytime soon, unless it’s with our grandkids! It seemed a little outdated, but then again, it was much cheaper than most of the other parks in the area. the MLK holiday. The lines were very long plus it was a cold, windy day. Has been a few years since coming here but it’s definitely changed a lot. We waited a least 45 minutes for every ride and we never saw any of the peanut characters and we were there for 8 hours. Even food lines were more than 20 minutes long. Pretty disappointed as they are either overselling tickets or not have enough staff.
