from Hoover Dam “VIP” Tour
Located in Black Canyon on the Colorado River, the Hoover Dam is the highest structure of its kind in the world. It is an outstanding achievement, noteworthy not only for its enormous dimensions, complex design and intricate construction, but also for it's illustration of man's outstanding ability to overcome the desert's summer sun, the vagaries of a treacherous river, and the extreme hazards of great heights on the chasm's sheer walls.

This tour includes the Visitor Center and Historical Displays, views from the “interior” base of the dam into the Generator Room, the fascinating Hoover Dam Movie, with ample time for breathtaking views from the Top of the Dam, Lake Mead, the world's largest man-made lake, the eastern edge of the chasm in Arizona where you have fabulous views of the dam including Lake Mead. In addition, there are wonderful photo ops of the new Hoover Dam Bridge. Before returning to Las Vegas we stop at a local park where herds of Big Horn Sheep often come down from the surrounding mountains to gather and graze on the sweet grass.

Tour Includes: Unlimited Bottled Water & Snacks.

This is a must do tour while in. Vegas. Adam, our tour guide, was excellent, arrived to pick us at the hotel about 10 minutes ahead of time. He has been providing a wealth of information, making stops at some of the most breathtaking places, assisting with taking pictures..We truly enjoyed this seven hour long tour, had a great time and took some of the best shots and videos. Definitely recommend this trip through a Vegas Desert Tours. Gene

"Valley of Fire"

We visited Valley of Fire with our tour guide Pete and had an awesome experience. Peter was very knowledgeable in history, plants, animals and about all things in Valley of Fire. We stopped at all of the sights about which I had read, and more. We had a wonderful picnic lunch at The Cabins, a great choice for scenery and the food was just terrific. We were given lots of time for photos and he even made unscheduled photo stops for us. Peter had our enjoyment and comfort in mind at all times. With the beautiful weather and the great companions we met that day, it was a perfect day.

"Best day of our holiday!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

We got a private tour with Chris Chesmore to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon west rim. It was a fantastic day, he went over and above for us and we can't thank him enough! He took us to a garage for a coffee first which was great and loads cheaper and nicer than Vegas, he then took us to an information centre then on to the Hoover Dam. After that we stopped at a view point for Lake Mead which was stunning and he got some great photos of us then we went on the Grand Canyon. He stopped in at a friends shop for us to have a look about then we went on to the West Rim where we had lunch and a wander about. He was informative interesting kind and helpful. On the way back from the Canyon he took us to a working Ranch where we had a drink and I got serenaded by a real cowboy ha ha!! Absolutely brilliant day! Oh and to end the day as if he couldn't do anymore for us he took us to Johnny Rocco's boxing gym, my partner loves boxing so was absolutely over the moon, Chris you were the best tour guide we,ve ever had thank you so much for making this day the best one of our holiday! I'm sure I've missed some things out there was so much that Chris did with us and even taking us to see some Mountain Sheep on the way back to Vegas. Just lovely :)

"A great tour company"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed January 18, 2019 NEW
What makes a great tour company? Well, it should offer a wide variety of tours and not be afraid to drop one if there is no demand. Then new tours should be offered. Adventure clearly fits the bill on both counts. Over the past decade, I have taken a number of their tours, including two to the Grand Canyon (South Rim and West Rim), Hoover Dam, Death Valley, Valley of Fire, Red Rock Canyon and Bryce Canyon/Zion National Park. All have been fantastic experiences. Of course, visiting the sites is always eye-opening, but the tour guides on each of the tours help make each day enjoyable. The reason is that to get to each destination requires a number of hours on a bus. A good tour guide fills in the travel time and provides some education and history as well. Every tour guide I have come in contact with really seems to enjoy their work. The company must be doing something right. Another reason I keep returning to Adventure is their commitment to customer service. When planning a vacation to Las Vegas I like to learn what the tours are about. I send an e-mail and usually get a response with an hour or two. Definitely, they are interested in their customers. Right now planning another tour and staff at Adventure have been quite helpful in helping me make a decision. Of course, there are other tour companies, but they are not Adventure!
