We came and stayed here for two nights and had the two bedroom Disney princess suite. It was cheesy but quite cute. Pink duvet covers with princess pillows, princess mural on the wall with Disney princess stick on decorations on the doors. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. One bedroom with a king and the second with two queens. It had a little fridge (no freezer), microwave and sink in a kitchenette area. A sitting area also between the two bedrooms which was nice. Looked out onto the splash pad (there is also a pool here too separate from the splash pad) My complaint about the room would be that there was only one bathroom for the two bedroom room and it was IN the kids room. Since they go to bed before us it didn’t make sense to have to go through their room and wake them up (they’re light sleepers) to use the washroom. Definitely don’t think that was well planned out for this room. Also let’s define 1 block away..... I don’t know what that’s away from but definitely be prepared to walk 20-30 minutes to get to the entrance of either Disney parks. You have to walk down a couple streets and then through all of downtown Disney to get there. It was farther than we had anticipated so something to think of if you are thinking one block being a 5 minute walk it is definitely not. We included purchasing the option of the breakfast when making our reservation. It was to include two adults for the buffet breakfast and kids ate free. I won’t lie, the buffet breakfast was fantastic! It had a large variety of foods, everything was fresh, hot and tasty. Also it changed the two mornings we were there so different options also. What I didn’t appreciate was that my husband and I could eat from the buffet but the kids breakfast was just from a menu. For example - one option was cereal and fresh fruit or scrambled eggs and bacon. Of course we were eating from the buffet and so our kids wanted to do the same but the charge for them to eat at the buffet is $7.99 per child!!! The “Free” meal that came for them was valued at $3.99. I feel like the kids should’ve been able to eat at the buffet with us as an inclusive price. Or at a minimum we should only have to pay the difference between the two prices. It was nice to be able to see the fireworks at night from a balcony they had on the second floor of the main lobby. Overall we were only here two nights so it was ok but I think the above is worth considering if you are thinking of staying here especially longer term.

"Nice Hotel, terribly trained staff"

Beds are nice, breakfast buffet is good and about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland. At check in I was never told that kids' breakfast buffet is not included and that parking is $15 a night. My first day I had to pay $25 for my daughter's buffets (even after informing the front desk that I was only told I had to give the restaurant my name and room number). They "solved" the issue by giving my kids a free buffet the next morning. The day of checkout I notice a charge of $52 on my bank account. After asking at the front desk I am informed that parking is $15 a night. Again, not told this at check in. After asking to speak with a manager, she proceeded to tell me "it's hotel policy", "it's on our website", " says it", "I will remind the staff to inform customers at check in" and "most hotels charge for parking nowadays"... Hotel is nice but the staff will keep me from staying there again.

Good for a close place to crash near Disney. Nothing bad about the hotel. A little longer walk than they claim. Next door Marriot is much better and newer but also more expensive. Building 3 Rooms and bathrooms are tight. Beds are hard. Parking is $15/day. Surprisingly quiet, which is a big plus. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner until 10pm at in hotel restaurant.

"Great Place to Stay for Disneyland"

Stayed here 4 nights due to the location - 10 to 15mins walk to Disneyland/Adventure Park and 15 or so mins drive to Knotts Berry Farm Theme Park. Staff are friendly, parking is reasonable. The restaurant is good for breakfast with a good choice of cooked and fresh food. Kids eat free off the Children's Breakfast Menu. We ate there for dinner one evening and had no complaints food was enjoyable. Room was reasonable and the quality of the bed was excellent. An excellent choice for the area

"Beds comfy, if you like bright lights, fireworks and broken faucets"

Got rooms for our team for Expo West expecting what I’ve experienced at other Holiday Inns around the US, updated, modern, clean, etc. rooms are minimally updated, musty, smoky smell through halls, bright halogen lights from pool glare into room unless you pull the black out shades...too it off with surprise firework shows a block away that sound like street shootout from the room. Then final night bathroom faucet snaps off while brushing teeth. That’s the negative cuz I’m up waiting for maintenance to fix while sink runs. Positives, 5 min. ride to convention center, very comfy pillows and nice beds with cozy sheets/comforters that are very clean. Bar/restaurant downstairs has decent food and friendly bar tenders. Breakfast buffet is also decent with multiple options.
