Lovely hotel, staff were amazing. Close enough to walk to the beach and downtown. Located towards the Zoo end of Waikiki but we walked downtown every night to eat and enjoyed the walk back. We stayed 10 nights had one room for 5 and then had a second room for the last 5 nights. The rooms are way too cosy for more than 2 or 3 unless your children are young, I had 2 teenagers and we relaxed once we had that 2nd room . Lovely bar in the lobby and the restaurant/diner downstairs had amazing food

"Executive Lounge change March 1st 2019"

I booked this hotel because it claims to have the only executive lounge in Waikiki and after reading the reviews it seemed like it was an OK lounge. When I arrived on March 9th I was informed that there was a change to the executive lounge as of March 1st and they were doing the minimum required by Hilton which is continental breakfast. I was upset that there was no mention of this on their website and felt like it was false advertising. It is a nice hotel and has good service, but the Hampton has a better breakfast. Diamond members like to be treated as Diamond members and I will not be back.

Normally I am very pleased when we stay at the Hilton. But this time they severely let me down. We planned a trip months in advance only to have our room changed when we get here. We got a smaller room with smaller beds as well as a crappy bathroom. Now this may not seem like something to complain about but we rarely get vacation and for the money we paid I expected to get exactly what we reserved. They couldn’t change our room because they were totally booked and when we talked to the front desk their only reply was “the rooms are all the same”. Bull. My family and I have spent a lot of money staying at Hilton hotels and have gathered a points as we have just begun traveling a lot, it doesn’t make sense to me to absent mindedly ignore the request of your guest when they can specifically tell you the differnces. We were told the room we have this trip is more expensive than the one we had before because it’s an ocean view. However we didn’t want an ocean view to begin with. I am just beyond displeased and will never be using them again.

"Average stay, not worth the money"

We had 2 rooms between 6 people for 12 nights. Our rooms were good, beds were very comfortable, pillows were horrible. Housekeeping wasn't great. Our fridge wasn't working & after 2 calls to reception it was replaced. The AC wasn't working but was fixed immediately. We had the mountain view rooms which was a beautiful site to see each morning. We paid extra for breakfast during our stay. It was below standard and a waste of money. The only things that were edible was the toast/bagels and the cereals. We mainly choose this hotel due to the heated pool. It was NOT heated. Admittedly the weather was not great the entire 13 days that we were in waikiki which we knew in advance hence why we wanted a heated pool. The pool water was freezing! So disappointed!!! The tour staff seemed like they had better things on their mind than wanting to help you with tours. Location is pretty good, 1 street back from the beach. 3 mins walk to the beach. I personally wouldnt stay again. We had 2 rooms between 6 people for 12 nights. Our rooms were good, beds were very comfortable, pillows were horrible. Housekeeping wasn't great. We stayed at the Hilton Waikiki and it was 2 blocks from the beach. The front desk staff person was amazing. I wish I could remember her name because she was so welcoming. Tyler at the Expedia desk made booking our tours easy. He even booked our rental car. Such a nice guy we could have chatted with him all night. Mona at MAC 24/7 was an incredible server and story teller. Love that woman. The bar tender at the pool bar always remembered our drink orders. A fabulous holiday thanks to the amazing staff at the Hilton Waikiki.
