Cleans rooms, Nice view, Delicious buffet breakfast. The only thing, I did not like was the food in the restaurant at dinner. I don't recomend the food and service of the hotel restaurant.

"Tired/typical conference hotel."

Overall: generally friendly staff, but a tired hotel with sub par food and service. There was a nasty, foul, sour smell in the hallway. We smelled it consistently for the duration of our stay. The bed covers felt thin and cheap. There are much nicer comforters that are for warmer climates that still offer a more substantial weight. We travel frequently and stay in comperable hotels. The condition of the hotel seems to be needing an upgrade. The bathroom vanities are old wood and very weathered. Breakfast was very disappointing. Service was lacking and the blueberry pancakes had a very strange taste (almost like soap). We told the waiter that we did not like them. He asked if we wanted “regular pancakes”. At this point, (we had to ask other wait staff to get our waiter) we had waited so long we decided it was not worth is to try another round of pancakes. No offer to adjust our bill or remedy the situation. The bar area does offer some nice seating options, though it does NOT effectively manage the sound in the space. Wait staff are not very attentive. We literally waited over 30 minutes for our bill. The fitness room seemed to be clean and had a decent variety of equipment. There were 3 treadmills that didn’t work, but plenty of others that did. Staff came in to attend to the room, put fresh towels on machines etc. Pool area is nice, but directly adjacent to the very noisy Dole plant. The overall value for this hotel was just not there. For a $300+ per night fee, I expect more.

"Very busy hotel but scenic"

We stayed for 3 nights. I was expecting robes and slippers in my room but there was none. They also did not have some stuff you would regularly find in a 5 star hotels such us qtips, etc. However when I called to ask for robes and slippers, the send them to the room. It took maybe 2 hours but understands so, they were full that night. I did book in their spa for a honey & milk body wrap. The facilities was great and the service too. I did eat breakfast in the restaurant in the main floor. It was good and the service was great too. We also had a drink in their restaurant at the second floor. The weather was cold so I did not get to enjoy their patio. Besides those - the bed was comfortable. I had a great stay. Thanks everyone!

"Convention Stay"

Nice hotel; fewer amenities than the Marriott at the other side of the convention center. Took forever to get hot water to 29th floor. Very expensive. Room was clean & nicely appointed. Staff was friendly.

"Opt for bay view"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

Pay a little extra for the bay view. We got to listen to the Dole fruit factory all night long as they unloaded their boat. The view isn’t pretty unless you like the industrial factory landscape. Other than the room view and sounds, the hotel is very nice. We stayed for a week because of a business conference. I’d return but would opt for the other side of the hotel. I would have rated the hotel 4 dots(stars) if it wasn’t for the room.
