Description

from Maui Hana Cave-Quest Day Tour
The day begins with complimentary pick-up between 7:00 am & 7:30 am. Traveling to Pa’ia leads us to start a new Adventure in Paradise with a light morning snack. Afterward, the journey to Hana begins. Tour the famous Road to Hana in the air-conditioned comfort of an exclusive, 6 to 8 guest, Luxury Limo-Van. Photo opportunities abound, along this spectacular sea-coast drive. Ke’anae, a quaint Hawaiian village with peaceful taro fields and Waikani Falls, glistening with fresh mountain rain water, are just two of the many sights to be enjoyed. Guests discover and learn, in-depth, about the native Hawaiian people, their culture, and land.

This full day Interactive Experience allows guests to tour the remote Hana Coast, plus discover Maui’s own “Wonder of the World”, the incredible Ka’eleku Cavern. Created by Pele, the Goddess of Fire, this enormous subterranean lava tube resembles a chocolate-colored Lava Cathedral Cave, frozen in time forever! Walk beneath the dense tropical rain forest of Hana through Pele’s famous underground passage. Discover elephant’s foot stalactites, mounds of chocolate colored lava drops and soufflé-like lava swirls formed over 30,000 years ago. Photos permitted, so take your camera for some mystical pictures of “Hana Down-Under”.

After the hike, guests delight in a scrumptious Pacific Rim Cuisine Lunch.

Heading back to the “real world”, we return from Hana at a “Maui-style” pace. There’s plenty of time to swim, or just relax and enjoy. Bring bathing suits and towels to capture a lifetime memory of swimming in a crystal clear, freshwater pool under a cascading waterfall.

Tour Returns: 4:30 pm - 5:00 pm.

Each Hana Cave-Quest Full Day Tour Includes:
- Luxury Limo-Van with only 6 - 8 Guests

- Lite Morning Snack and Pacific Rim Cuisine Lunch

"A must see tour"
May, 2016
Temptation Tours was the company we personally rated as # 1. It was worth every penny we spent and the Guide/driver of the mini bus Sean was the best guide ever. We felt we were in a best company and the mini van was one of the best. Sean took us thru the full day and narrated the history of all the places we went. He did not rush and took more than enough time to visit all the places and went above and beyond to make sure that we get the full knowledge of the place. We only wished we could convey and persuade our friends to go with temptation Tours when ever they visit Hawaii. Wonderful job our friend Sean.

Les kept us informed and entertained for 10 hours as we explored lava tubes, waterfall after waterfall, saw mongoose and Brazilian cardinals, hiked a black sand beach, saw about 20 green sea turtles, spotted whales, ate a local banana that Les bought for us, tried Maui Gold pineapple, watched surfers, spent some time with a tropical florist, and experienced incredible vistas on the road this Hana.

Our guide Chris Gober was phenomenal!! Hands down the best guide I have ever had on any travel excursion, anywhere in the world (seriously). He was friendly, laid-back, and breathtakingly knowledgeable about Hawaii - a veritable human encyclopedia of the flora, fauna, the country’s history, local businesses, and stories of individual people in the nearby towns. He peppered the tours with fascinating trivia and made a number of unscheduled stops so we could experience gems like cascading waterfalls, a pair of playing seals (apparently a rare sighting), the best coconut ice cream in the world. We learned about the many uses of the bamboo plant, the natural shampoo made from squeezing the red succulent flowers of bushes that were a common sight along the roads, the intriguing story of the Miracle Church, made entirely from white coral, and visible in the distant valley. Chris expressed love and deference for Hawaii and it’s people. He also clearly loved his job, and my family and I were infinitely blessed to have had him as our guide.

Great tour. Fantastic tour guide. Very comfortable ride. This was the famous "Road to Hana" tour that everyone always talks about. The trip travels the twisted, winding road all the way from Lahaina to Hana stopping at various places along the way to view waterfalls, bridges and lots of various foliage. Mine only reason for not giving it the full 5 stars was that the price was a bit more than I thought was necessary for what you get throughout the day.
