The description of the trip is not what happened the day we took it. You do not visit the lavender farm, but instead are dropped off at a market that I would've never gone to if I were on my own. The dinner that is described is not what was served. It was like eating at a banquet event, cold food And no flavor. Company does not care about the weather and should cancel tour if they know you will not see anything. It was rainy and foggy and had to stay in bus. In addition the bus driver was very unprofessional. I'm glad I did not have children with me since his language it was something I would want my grandchildren to hear.

"Cruise Ship Pearl Harbor Tour"

Polynesian Adventure is the operator of NCL's Pearl Harbor tours. They pick you up at the ship, get you the USS Arizona tickets, and take you to the USS Missouri. A short tour of historic and interesting sites in Honolulu along the way, our tour guide was somewhat informative, but they are primarily a shuttle bus.

We had the best tour guides/drivers on our trip to Hawaiian Islands. Our favorite was Ben E. on Oahu for 3 days.. Tai on Maui, and day we left for airport Grand Circle was last tour before we left Honolulu which was Tito. They are all professionals and know the history of the Islands better than we could have expected.

"Great Line - Polynesian Adventure Tours WWIi Pearl Harbor Tour a Total Rip-off"

My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) took the WWII Peal Harbor Heroes Adventure Tour, which ran from 7:45 AM to 5 PM. At @ $158.00/pp, this was a pricey day, but I had been looking forward to an in-depth, all day tour hitting all of the highlights of the Pearl Harbor site. Beware: this is NOT a tour at all. Basically, you meet a bus driver and a liasion from Polynesian Adventures. They drive you to Pearl Harbor and get timed tickets for you, but that is it. There is no "tour" at all provided by Polynesian Adventure Tours. They basically just drive you to Pearl Harbor and then give you your tickets and tell you where to go next, but they are NOT tour guides. I was hugely disappointed and felt completely ripped off.

We visited the big island as part of a scuba diving trip. We decided to fly to Oahu to experience and pay respects to Pearl Harbor. Pearl Harbor and the USS Missouri tours are fantastic! However, the Polynesian Adventure Tour company not so much. Our driver was friendly and seemed to know a lot but was constantly calling the island the “cement jungle” and complaining about the cost of living and how the island has changed. While I understand the disappointment she must have, this experience will keep me from ever visiting that island again. We were constantly told how much this house or that condo cost and that they used to have this or that business but it was closed now. If you do go with them make sure you buy water and snacks. We fly in and we’re picked up at 8:30 am but didn’t get to sit for lunch until 3:00 pm. Our only food options were little shops inside Pearl Harbor of the USS Missouri so touristy unhealthy foods. I would expect the company could have water and snack bars on the van if you’re not able to stop until 3:00 for a real meal.

"Road to Hana Tour"

My family and I did a day trip from Oahu to Maui to do the Road to Hana Tour. It was fantastic. They organized everything including shuttle to and from the airport to our Hawaiian airline flight. Lee, our tour guide, was amazing and his skillful driving allowed us to to see all of the Road to Hana. And if his driving wasn’t impressive enough on this curvy road, his knowledge of the island and island’s history was amazing. We did a full circle (including not so paved raods). Breakfast was included for us. The new Mercedes can was awesome with built in cooler and USB so we could charge our phones. I would definitely recommend this tour.
