"Gaterland Visit"
November, 2018
Value for money, shows we saw were entertaining, you have the chance to handle some of the animals if you want to, there are places to eat or get coffee and a snack, it's a nice way to spend an afternoon.... Sadly heavy rain cut short our visit, even the Crocs took cover.

"Gatorland - definitely worth the stop"
October, 2018
We visited Gatorland with our kids (ages 9, 7, 4, 2) and parents and it was a GREAT visit.

We bought the basic entry (through Reserve Orlando - adult tickets; and ticketsatwork.com - kids tickets) for a good discount. Then we bought an extra package the day of that included "wrestling" an alligator, feeding them and riding the train.

What we loved:
the shows: we say 3 different shows, all entertaining, just the right length, fun, and engaging.
the train: our littlest guy (and grandpa) loves trains, so this was perfect for him.
feeding the gators: wow...they certainly take a bite of those hot dogs! Seeing the show where they jump for chicken was...well, YIPE!!!
the staff: there were lots of staff everywhere and they all were very helpful and friendly
the spray park: be sure to take some extra clothes for the end of the day and let the kids play...this was a fantastic spray park!

I was a little worried about safety. Ever since that poor little guy got eaten a few years ago at the Disney resort I'm terrified for my kids...but THIS PLACE WAS SO SAFE!!! There are no worries at all about my kids accidentally being somewhere they shouldn't be.

Because of the ages of our kids we didn't do the zip line or the swamp tours - but they looked fun.
Overall: a great visit I would highly recommend. Wow! Some of those gators are really huge!

Tip: You'll probably need about 3-4 hours at least to see all the shows and do the things included in general admission. If you want to do some of the extra activities, you need closed toe shoes - not even closed toe sandals - but actual shoes. Having extra cash along the way for photos and feeding snacks would be good.

When you are in Orlando everything seems to cost so much for a day of fun. My 16 year old picked this and we are so glad she did. It was less then 100 dollars for about 5 hours of fun. They have so much to see and do at Gatorland. The staff was super friendly and very entertaining. We had a lot of fun and learned a few things along the way.

It all started with the entrance. Walk through a big gators mouth. Hundreds of little baby gators everywhere. Go ahead and skip the mating grounds, not lots of action. A good way to kill a few hours. Definitely worth it though. A nice break from the crowds. Check this place out my wife loved it!

Took 4 grandkids (11-19) to Gatorland in February. Was very surprised with the park. Lots to see and do. Shows were great! Take your time. Allow 2-3 hours. More than gators. Saw crocodiles, birds, panthers, snakes, etc. STOMPIN GATOR RIDE IS NOT WORTH IT!!!!

This place is amazing if you are an alligator enthusiasts or if your kids wants to beable to list different types of gators like they do dinosaurs! I feel there are too many in each enclosed areas and we saw some with horrible wounds that birds continued to peck at. That was disappointing but to see so many and such big ones was interesting. We did not get to see any shows except a big guy snapping his jaw shut that made a sound that I will have nightmares about for the rest of my life!

We got there at opening and quickly got our wristbands and went in. Saw a couple shows and rode the train that takes a half mile loop around the park. My 10,9 and 2 year old boys loved this place. Recommend catching the Jumparoo show. Very clean considering the huge amount of gators and other animals.
