How do I use my Pass at attractions?
In general, when you arrive at an attraction, you will need to show your pass for admission. However, individual attractions may have unique instructions or reservation requirements, which will be noted.
When is my pass activated?
Your pass is activated the moment it is scanned for admission at your first attraction, bus tour or restaurant.
How long do I have to use my pass?
Once activated, your FreeStyle Pass DC is valid for a full 14 days.
When does my pass expire?
Passes that have not been activated expire one year from the purchase date. Once activated, your FreeStyle Pass DC is valid for 14 days.
Can I board the Citysights DC One Day Express Hop-on, Hop-off bus tour anywhere with my card?
Prior to your first boarding, you will need to need to pick up a bus ticket at Union Station, 50 Massachusetts Ave, NE, Washington DC in the main lobby. Once you have your ticket, you can hop-on the bus at any stop on the route, any time the bus is running.
Do I need to choose my attractions right now?
No! With the FreeStyle Pass, you can simply choose as you go. Experience Washington DC the way you want to.
How do the dining options work?
You may choose to select a restaurant as one of your attractions options. When you get to the restaurant, just show your pass and they’ll let you know how it works! Please note that using a dining option counts as an attraction visit.
Can I visit the same attraction more than once?
You may visit each included attraction just once. With so many great attractions to choose from, you’ll have plenty to keep you busy!
Do I need to make a reservation to visit attractions?
Attractions which require a reservation will be noted in the guidebook that comes with your pass. Making a reservation will not activate your Pass. You must make all reservations for a day in which your pass is still valid. When you show up for your reserved tour the attraction will then scan your pass for entrance to the tour. You pass must still be valid.
