Stayed there for 3 nights to visit Universal Studios with 2 people. Booked the two bedroom suite online because they didn´t have anything else left. When we arrived the receptionist asked if we would like a smaller studio room for cheaper rate because there is only 2 of you. NEVER ACCEPT THAT!!! They gave us a room in the 3rd house, fourth floor. When we entered the room it had a really awful musty smell, the balcony door didn´t open so there was no way to air the room out. Bathtub was full of mold and really nasty. Everything in the room looked like it was there since the 80-s or 90-s, reminded me old apartments that were built in the Soviet Union era... As I have allergies there was no way I was able to stay in that room for 3 nights. Went back to the reception desk and asked for another room with no carpet, so they gave us one to check out. The room on the 5th floor still had carpet and again that old musty smell, although not as strong as the first room. So I had to go again downstairs to the reception desk and ask another room, they finally gave us a "renovated" room with wood flooring. Big thanks to Vera at the reception desk, she was extremely helpful and understanding the whole time! You could see that even the "renovated" room was done really cheaply: paint residue everywhere, paint cracking, cheapest appliances etc... The bed was surpisingly comfy but some of the pillow covers were stained. Obviously I didn´t expect it to be a 5 star hotel but I was really shocked about the condition of the rooms. THE WIFI IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN AT A HOTEL! The Wifi is unsecured and terribly slow. In the morning/midday the connection was tolerable, but during the evening good luck even browsing simple websites, not gonna talk about Youtube/streaming services... You couldn´t even make a simple audio call via Skype without connection problems. Breakfast was alright as it was included with the room rate, breakfast room staff was very friendly and happy every morning we ate there. Plenty of parking spaces available, even during the later hours. Location is perfect, not far from Universal ($6-7 Uber ride) and plenty of stores/restaurants near the hotel. I´m gonna talk a bit more about the room changes because it looks a bit fishy to me. When they asked if we wanted a smaller studio room for cheaper rate and we were offered 3 different rooms before we were happy. As I was interested if there is any studio rooms now available at the website I decieded to looked it up. They still offered only the two bedroom suites for the next days!!! So looks like they´re forcing you to book the bigger and expensive room in advance but when you arrive to the place with only a few people (2-3 max) they will offer you the "cheaper" option for a "good" price. If you´re in a budget and wan´t to visit Universal, this is a decent place to stay.

Staff are friendly and helpful However the hotel is very dated and needs updating. The pictures displayed on websites are not a true reflection of the actual rooms. The showers are awful. We stayed in 2 different rooms due the 1st being dirty, and the shower in both was awful, like a dribble. Lifts are really bad and always breaking down. Breakfast is served with plastic cutlery and foam cups.

stayed in a Virgin Holidays suite, loved the size of the suite, comfortable, two bedrooms - one on either side of the lounge/kitchen area, only downside is you have to buy your own coffee after the first day! havent experienced that before in any hotel/suite, Hot breakfast included (also with Virgin Holidays) plenty choice, different every day, with omelettes made to order, would stay again!

we stayed at Enclave for the third time. Its position is perfect for us and the 2 bed suite was exactly what 2 couples and a baby needed. the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. you are greeted everywhere you go and they consistently do anything they can to help fix issues or make things better. we couldn't have the room we wanted so we got moved as soon as it became available. We had a few issues, but they were addressed immediately and followed up regularly. My thanks go to Vera for all her help, and to Enrique, Burnette and Raul, who not only are lovely, very helpful and great at their jobs, but also remembered my family instantly even though we were last there two years ago. this makes us feel very welcome every time we stay. you get what you pay for and Enclave suites, while not perfect, has always met our needs.
