Dollywood is a Pigeon Forge vacation must! The park offers plenty to do for all ages. Plan on lots of walking. Make sure to get a park map and show schedule when you arrive. When you're thirsty, ask for a cup of water at any food stand. It's free!

Even if rain is in the forecast, go to Dollywood. You’ll experience shorter wait times, fewer crowds, and more chances to ride your favorite coaster or ride over and over again. We walked right onto Tennessee Tornado, Wild Eagle, and Mystery Mine!

Spent most of our time waiting in line. Will never go again on a Saturday. Only went on Saturday because weather was predicted to turn ugly the remainder of our trip.

Truly an awful experience. You couldn't maneuver in a wheelchair because of so many people. Handicap parking full. Waited an 1 1/2 hours just for a scooter/EVC To not even be able to get around in. Returned after paying $76 for two and less than 40 minutes use! Kids waited 2 1/2 hours for a ride and walked away. Will never return!

    "Christmas at Dollywood!"
    December, 2018
My husband and I went to Pigeon Forge for our anniversary. Our first night there we went to Dollywood for the parade of many colors. We had bought our tickets through reserve Pigeon Forge. Check in was easy and Dollywood looked absolutely stunning all lit up for Christmas. We loved walking around and enjoying all the festive decorations and the parade was spectacular. It was my husband's first trip to Dollywood and we are planning a return visit.

    "Galcier Ridge and Christmas time!"
    December, 2018
This trip was finally my dream come true. For seven years I have always wanted to visit Dollywood at Christmas time, and it finally came true!! This was my fifth time of visiting Dollywood but never at Christmas. Dollywood is so exciting and I love it. The Christmas lights, shows, atmosphere was awesome. There is so much to do. I downloaded the app several months ago and used it thoroughly because I didn't want to miss anything. I took the trolley over to the park and it was easy getting on and off the trolley. The shows are awesome a lot of very talented people down to the design of the stage. The theaters are very clean and comfortable. The shops has merchandise for every taste and very reasonably priced. The food and staff was awesome I would recommend eating at the mill. The rides are fun!! It is well worth the money. I would also recommend going several times because there will always be something you missed and also your favorite rides are always waiting. Another thing is Dollywood is always expanding. I would also recommend getting the gold pass everywhere you go the staff ask if you have a gold pass for discounts. Don't forget the train ride it will give you a view of the entire park and if you go when the sun comes down you can see all the Christmas lights. I will definitely be back next year.

While my overall impression of Dollywood was GREAT, our day was filled with on and off rain with lightening which made a day of wait and see, wait and don't ride. Price was fine. Spent a lot of our time in shows which were wonderful. Great staff throughout the part. Love the You can pick it up on the way out service! That kept our hands free and kept us from eating all the goodies we bought!

While vacationing in Gatlinburg my husband and I visited Dollywood in nearby Pigeon Forge. Dollywood has a beautiful setting with many rides, great live entertainment and tasty food choices. Admission is a little steep but many other nationwide parks are somewhat overpriced as well. It’s a nice choice for all age groups but in our opinion, when we were there, the park seemed to appeal more to older guests like ourselves. The younger crowd (teens and twenty something’s) we encountered, seemed to be less than thrilled. Even if this is the age bracket you or a family member falls into, you shouldn’t let this discourage you from visiting. If Dollywood is a place you are interested in visiting you should experience it at least once, or run the risk of never knowing how you really feel about it.

Very fun place to take the children a lil pricey but well worth the money to see the smiles on the kids face if you go make the wild eagle a definite must do.
