Dollywood is a Pigeon Forge vacation must! The park offers plenty to do for all ages. Plan on lots of walking. Make sure to get a park map and show schedule when you arrive. When you're thirsty, ask for a cup of water at any food stand. It's free!

Even if rain is in the forecast, go to Dollywood. You’ll experience shorter wait times, fewer crowds, and more chances to ride your favorite coaster or ride over and over again. We walked right onto Tennessee Tornado, Wild Eagle, and Mystery Mine!

Spent most of our time waiting in line. Will never go again on a Saturday. Only went on Saturday because weather was predicted to turn ugly the remainder of our trip.

Truly an awful experience. You couldn't maneuver in a wheelchair because of so many people. Handicap parking full. Waited an 1 1/2 hours just for a scooter/EVC To not even be able to get around in. Returned after paying $76 for two and less than 40 minutes use! Kids waited 2 1/2 hours for a ride and walked away. Will never return!

    "Christmas at Dollywood!"
    December, 2018
My husband and I went to Pigeon Forge for our anniversary. Our first night there we went to Dollywood for the parade of many colors. We had bought our tickets through reserve Pigeon Forge. Check in was easy and Dollywood looked absolutely stunning all lit up for Christmas. We loved walking around and enjoying all the festive decorations and the parade was spectacular. It was my husband's first trip to Dollywood and we are planning a return visit.

    "Galcier Ridge and Christmas time!"
    December, 2018
This trip was finally my dream come true. For seven years I have always wanted to visit Dollywood at Christmas time, and it finally came true!! This was my fifth time of visiting Dollywood but never at Christmas. Dollywood is so exciting and I love it. The Christmas lights, shows, atmosphere was awesome. There is so much to do. I downloaded the app several months ago and used it thoroughly because I didn't want to miss anything. I took the trolley over to the park and it was easy getting on and off the trolley. The shows are awesome a lot of very talented people down to the design of the stage. The theaters are very clean and comfortable. The shops has merchandise for every taste and very reasonably priced. The food and staff was awesome I would recommend eating at the mill. The rides are fun!! It is well worth the money. I would also recommend going several times because there will always be something you missed and also your favorite rides are always waiting. Another thing is Dollywood is always expanding. I would also recommend getting the gold pass everywhere you go the staff ask if you have a gold pass for discounts. Don't forget the train ride it will give you a view of the entire park and if you go when the sun comes down you can see all the Christmas lights. I will definitely be back next year.

I know they just opened 2 days ago for the season but too many things not open or unstaffed. Now that we have that out of the way I feel this is a great family attraction. I wish the had more signs to let you know where you are going. The map is very handy and the staff go above and beyond. Love the shows and the shops. We did ride the train which is coal and steam driven. I would suggest sitting towards the back due to the smoke. Over all I am glad we have season passes. Thank you for the great time.

Pros: Very Clean, friendly staff, lines move steadily, food is good, shows, something for every member of the family to do. Coms: Expensive!!! high ticket cost and they charge for parking- Take the trolly for 50 cents and save yourself some money. They will cancel shows and parades at the drop of a hat and communicate it with patrons poorly. Dolly was suppose to be in the parade the Saturday we were there, no Dolly no parade would still be sitting at the end of the parade line if I did not overhear a couple. Rides were shut down for power failure, adding cars, and other problems frequently while there. They did give out one time use fast passes though when this happened. Overall we liked it and will return. Just wish they would communicate better and for goodness sakes do not charge for parking with the ticket price you charge.

We enjoyed all the Festival of Nation acts. We got season passes. Super Gold makes parking free and meals less outrageous with 20 pct off. I had not been in many years- see no way Wildwood Grove opens on time. Looks way behind. I couldn't find the Ropes Course I loved. I wish there were more middle of the road coasters but they have many great super coasters! Lots of people on scooters- annoying. But all in all we enjoyed our 2 days. Dolly's Parade was poor but we did get to see her. Got to appreciate a legend! I wish she had stopped and gave us one song. They need a big parade or fireworks at night. Park is clean and they employ more retirees than teens so service is good. We plan to return in June and again in the Fall and to see Christmas lights!
