A holiday tradition for our family. There were 25 of us this year! Everyone loves the horses, dinner, and amazing show! We go early to see the horses in their stalls and get good pre-show seats in their carriage room. Dolly isn't there in-person but the riders and servers are super nice like her. A good value and treasured time.

Description

from Christmas At Dolly Parton’s Stampede
Celebrate A Christmas Tradition
In November and December, the Dolly Parton's Stampede Dinner Attraction, the world’s most visited dinner attraction, is decking the halls and grooming its horses for families to celebrate this holiday season.

“Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede” transforms into a beautiful holiday spectacular. Folks who experience “Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede” will be amazed at the full-scale living Nativity, holiday decor, seasonal music, a Santa Claus sighting, and a fabulous four-course family feast.

“Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Stampede” adds a touch of grace to its holiday show this year with a special presentation, “Adagio On Ice,” featuring world-renowned ice skaters who are appearing exclusively in Branson.

The Christmas show also features a seasonal twist with a friendly rivalry between the North and South Poles, equestrian feats, music, comedy, and audience participation. Families also will enjoy the “Magic of Toys” musical production starring the Sugar Plum Fairy and other toys she brings to life in an aerial display, all set to the epic music of “The Nutcracker Suite.”
Guests will be awed by the birth of Jesus portrayed in a living nativity with Mary, Joseph, three wise men atop real camels, and shepherds leading donkeys and their flock of sheep.

Of course, no Christmas would be complete without an appearance by Santa. Jolly Old St. Nick arrives in his sleigh as the Stampede's arena is transformed into a winter wonderland of freshly fallen snow.

"The true meaning of Christmas comes alive right before our guests’ eyes,” stated General Manager Bryan Cossiboom. “There is no time of year more special for families, so we invite everyone to gather over a good meal with festive entertainment and continue to make us part of their annual family tradition.”

The Christmas celebration is complemented by a four-course holiday feast consisting of a whole rotisserie chicken, hickory-smoked barbecue pork loin, herb-basted potato, buttery corn on the cob, creamy vegetable soup, homemade biscuit, and special holiday dessert.

One hour before the main show, guests are invited to the Carriage Room for some of the season’s best music, holiday comedy and family entertainment by three talented brothers, The White River Wranglers.

Admission includes the Carriage Room pre-show, holiday dinner and show extravaganza set in a 35,000-square-foot arena featuring 32 magnificent horses and thrilling horsemanship.

Show Times: 5:30 pm & 8:00 pm
12:30 pm & 3:00 pm Matinees on select dates.

Main arena show times are shown above. Please arrive an hour before to enjoy the beautiful horsewalk and Carriage Room pre-show.

Please Note: Seating sections are submitted to Dolly Parton's Stampede as requests and while they honor requests they do not guarantee location due to varied party sizes and theater occupancy.

Important Security Information
For the safety and enjoyment of our guests, we recommend that they arrive early. May conduct bag searches and/or electronic scans upon entry of the building, so please do not bring any unnecessary items.

"Christmas show was spectacular."
December, 2018
The Christmas show at Dixie stampede was spectacular. The preshow was also amazing with music to capture the attention of any age group. Snacks before the show or so reasonably priced. The show itself was exquisitely done and I was especially pleased that the true story of Jesus’s birth was told.

"BIG MAIN STAMPEDE STARS"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed February 16, 2019 NEW
This show's "big main stampede stars" were the large number of beautiful well-trained horses. Get there early in order to walk by the horses in their stalls. Get there early in order to watch and listen to the three brothers play their instruments and sing in the Carriage Room pre-show. Every seat in this large arena was a good seat. It was a fast moving program. The costumes were very colorful. This was a dinner show. The food was quickly served hot southern style. All the food tasted great and was very filling. The one criticism we have is that the show was very short.in length. It could have been much longer. It was the shortest show we went to.

"Above average show, average dinner"

This experience was great, the show was fun, exciting and very entertaining. The food was not poor, but it was average. Make sure that you have cash for souviners as well as tip for your server. Not reccommended for people who have allergies. My husband had to leave during the show, due to allergies. Not sure if it was the animals or the arena or the combination of both. Would recommend this experience.

"Good show with good food"

We have been coming here for over a decade. They did take out the “Dixie” from the name because it was offensive. You eat the meal with your hands and you get a lot of food. The show is pretty good and they change it a little each year.

So enjoyed this show. Enjoyed the preshow. We got to see the "Winter Wonderland" show with all that is Christmas. The Nativity scene was so well done. Was spectacular the way the backdrop changed with the different story themes. Our waiter did a tremendous job of serving our meal and keeping us supplied with drinks. A great night out for any age.
