Fun for the kids and very educational. Dinosaurs are life-size, which makes it very engaging and really impressed my nephew. The museum provides a lot of information that feeds a child’s curiosity about all things dinosaurs.

Description

from Dinosaur World Florida
Dinosaur World is Central Florida's only attraction dedicated to the giants of years past. The 20-acre theme park is conveniently located between Tampa and Orlando on Interstate 4 and a must see for families exploring the area. Spend your visit walking amongst some of the most feared predators ever to walk on the planet before heading off to explore the outdoor shows and entertainment including the Dino Disguise Show, Excavation Cave Experience, and the all-new Triviasaurus Rex Game Show.

Practice your skills as a paleontologist at the area’s largest Fossil Dig before you head over to the Boneyard Excavation to try your hand at uncovering a prehistoric skeleton sure to add a little roar to your day. And don’t miss Dino Gems Mining Operation where everyone uncovers a keepsake to treasure. The park also features a colossal skeletal playground for kids that’s large enough to contain even the loudest pitter-patter of little dinosaur feet.

"Family Fun Day"
January, 2019
We had a Family fun day with a teenager and a 10-year-old. There was lots to see and do. Lots to explore. The staff was absolutely excellent and shared dinosaur facts while you were walking around and exploring. The scenery is absolutely beautiful while the kids were having fun, my husband and I enjoyed holding hands walking through the beautiful outdoor garden areas. The scenery and the creeks and yes the dinosaurs made it all a beautiful adventure. Lots of hands on activities that both the children really enjoyed

I just had my sons 4th birthday party and it was amazing. The park was clean and staff was amazing. Thanks to Mrs Jan who helped me during the birthday party booking process as well as Sabrina who was extremely helpful on Saturday to make some last minute changes. The whole staff were so accommodating. My son had a blast and so did our party guests. This is a true hidden gem in Plant City.

"This place has been here FOREVER. Even through the mutilation (and/or theft) of the Trex that stands by the exit."

Its a bit hokey, but a well loved place that as been there FOREVER. A landmark of sorts. Off the beaten path a bit, but right near an exit, and a lot of love has gone into this place. Keep in mind its a mom and pop sort of place, a tourist attraction BETWEEN major cities. We have cows, starwberries and we have dinosaurs. Beat that one Orlando!

"A must for kids who like dinosaurs"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

My 4 year old son is a dinosaur fanatic and was completely enthralled by Dinosaur World. So much to see and do. You could see a lot of thought and research went into the layout, positioning and care of the facility. It was not crowded when we went but there is so much to do in different areas I don't think you'd have any delays or lines if it was. The playground and fossil dig are two good areas for kids 3 - 8 years old. It isn't just fun or entertaining, there is quite a bit to be learnt. We will be back.

"Surprisingly entertaining and educational"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed January 11, 2019
While not cheap, we found Dinosaur World to be surprisingly entertaining and educational if you take the time to go to the shows and to walk around looking at the museum and displays. Yes, the dinosaur statues are cheesy and could probably do with some updating, but the information given was interesting. The paleontologist shows were great for the kids and they contained some good information. Our kids (9 and 13) even enjoyed sifting for fossils. You do need to do everything to justify the price and overall the attraction is geared toward kids under 12. Was an enjoyable day and beyond what we expected for a roadside attaction.

"Cool but not for the price"

Was cool to see the dinosaurs but for the price, we were expecting more, it's really only for young children and the adults (the more expensive ticket) were bored quickly.
