"Lovely hotel"
September, 2018
We got the suite 2 bedroom 2 bath. It was really big and just a overall great experience with the staff. Breakfast was over the top . It was way different compared to other breakfast hotels. The diner inside was had flavor and the guy in there was very informative. They also give discounts on Disneyland ticket..whaaaatttt!!! They have a big pool . Everything there was great. I recommend for people to stay here. Only thing that kind sucked was that they only gave 2 parking stalls for it. I came with a family of 3 for 2 bedroom 2 bath with 4 queen beds and only 2. So they told us about a parking down the street for 24$ a day. I was hoping to get another parking stall since i paid so much for the room, but overall great hotel great food and great stay.

"Great hotel option near Disneyland"

Just spent three great nights at the Desert Palms Hotel & Suites. The hotel was conveniently located about 8 minutes by foot to Disneyland, which was great given the crazy amount of rain we experienced. And right next door was a 7-Eleven and a CVS. We stayed in a huge room with a two queen size beds. The hotel also had a pool and a hot tub which happened to be in use a lot by other guests. The room was always extremely clean and the staff was pleasant. They also had on premises parking for us, too. For those who are staying for a convention, it was very close to the Anaheim Convention Center as well. I would recommend any Disney goers to consider this hotel - it’s a great, affordable hotel.

"Awesome location next to Disneyland and California Adventure Park"

Our family of 4 adults (senior citizens) had a great stay for 7 nights in the one bedroom suite with full kitchen. The daily breakfast was okay but it had enough variety -- fruit, eggs, waffles, coffee, tea, toast, yogurt, etc. The room was super clean and the property was well maintained. The parking was sufficient and very handy if you want to walk to Disneyland or California Adventure Park. The location was easy to find if you are driving from Los Angeles International Airport with a rental car, which is what we did. I really thank the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, especially Mr. Phillip. We stayed in in Room 431 next to the elevator, ice machine and laundry room.

Heater in room did not operate correctly. room was cold and blowing air all night onto my head, causing a cold which ruined my whole trip. Pillows are wrong, one is too low and two are too high. The blankets should not be called "blankets" which imply some sort of comfort, instead they are something that should be given away at a gas station to wipe your tires with. Solution for the thermostat problem was to send the facilities person up who still did not fix the issue. Room assigned to was not the room I made reservations for, staff said hotel was sold out so instead gave me coupons for the Oasis Bar. Did not realize Oasis has no edible food, Fried Midwest Food, a dry veggie burger, French Fries, salad is iceberg lettuce, unripe tomatoes, dressing with too much sugar in it, no other veggies except carrot sticks. Not a California menu. Breakfast was similar with cereal with corn syrup, chopped up bits of mystery meat in tasteless eggs, tasteless breads, bad juices, no honey, bad coffee, should not call it a "breakfast." HORRIBLE FOOD EVERYWHERE IN THE HOTEL. Not fit for human consumption in 2019. Hotel has strange smells. Everyone was friendly but the coupon thing and the cold air on my head all night in a cold room was extremely uncomfortable. I was in Anaheim on business. Stay at the hotel almost cost me my job as had to eat somewhere else while having no sleep for 3 nights. . Hotel has strange smells

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Calming and quiet atmosphere all around. The staff was friendly and helpful. The kids loved the heated pool while we were able to relax in the spa. We loved watching the Disney fireworks from our room.

We’ve stayed at the Desert Palms more times than I can count. The staff is always courteous and it’s our home away from home when visiting Disneyland. I love being able to fill our bellies before heading off to the park with their included hot breakfast. The walk only takes about 10 minutes to the park which isn’t too bad. I always recommend this hotel to family and friends. Ive never been disappointed. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!
