"Comfortable hotel, convenient location"

I was in town to visit my niece at UCLA and stayed here because I have a little status with Marriott. Comfortable room, but limited services nearby. Valet parking was as quick with my car as I think I have ever experienced. A short drive from the Westfield Century City mall and all of its restaurants & stores.

"Decent hotel, though more expensive than it should be"

Had to attend a one-day function at Fox Studios. Fortunately, this Courtyard is located less than five minutes away from the studio lot. Though my review has some negatives, overall I must say this was a good stay at a decent hotel. The best part of this stay, as other reviews have stated, is the quality of the staff. They are very nice right from the check-in process where I was given a rundown of all the amenities the hotel offers. When you walk into the lobby, the hotel seems very welcoming and pleasant. It's not until you get into the single elevator and get up to your floor that you begin to notice how outdated the place is. The hallways have a musty odor to them and the carpeting and bland, narrow hallways seem to harken back to earlier times. That being said, the room itself was clean and there were some nice freebies including WiFi and assorted toiletries. Though the bathroom was very small, the shower in the morning was very nice. A note on the Wifi: While it's free, there is a paid service which is supposed to be faster. I didn't have any issues using the basic free service and I am glad that was free. What is preventing me from giving this a true 5-star experience is the price. I understand this is Los Angeles, but over $220 per night (and that is a AAA discount) for a room in a hotel like this is pretty outrageous. Then you throw in the $25.00 parking fee and various taxes and it almost comes to $290-$300 per night. That's just crazy. The Hilton at LAX will charge you under $200 a night and, well, that's a Hilton. If you are not going to bring that kind of upgraded hotel experience to the traveler, you shouldn't be charging this much more. I know my opinion isn't going to change a thing, but this isn't a $250 a night experience. For the price, you might as well stay at the Beverly Hilton a short distance away which may be similarly priced and is a night-and-day experience. I had a nice experience here. I had a good night's sleep. However, this is not what I would expect from a $200+ a night hotel. Maybe it's the area that dictates the price but you kind of feel like you're staying at a three-star hotel for a four-star price.

"Comfortable hotel in a relatively quiet neighborhood"

One of the better hotel deals in the area. The staff is pleasant, and the atmosphere is modern cozy. Our room also was as we hoped: Quiet, comfortable and clean. The inhouse restaurant was very good for breakfast, not so much for a rather expensive late dinner/snack. Parking rates at LA hotels is ridiculous.

"Good place to stay in Century City"

We have stayed at the Courtyard LA Century City/Beverly Hills a couple of times and have found the staff very friendly and helpful, the room very clean, and the beds to be very comfortable. We stayed here because of its close proximity to Cedar Sinai at a very reasonable price as they give you a break when having surgery at Cedar Sinai. We really enjoy that there is a Starbucks on the premises which makes this very convenient after surgery. I left a jacket there, I called and they found it and sent it to me. The physical structure is older and shows some wear, but it is very clean and well situated. If you need a good place to stay convenient to Beverly Hills/Century City area this is it.

"Very average hotel, there must be better!"

Stayed here for two nights for work. The only positives are a great staff and location. But the place is old and tired. Horrible fitness center. It needs a full upgrade. Will stay elsewhere next time in LA.
