We go to this resort as a STAY-cation. Why leave San Diego, right? Even though we live 20 minutes away, it is a treat just to cross the bridge and be in lovely Coronado. The beach is steps away, the resort provides all the beach toys you could want so we don't have to haul them from home. We love our rooftop Jacuzzi times at sunset and going over to the historic Hotel Del Coronado for a taste of history and class. There are MANY great places to eat within short or long walks. The resort has offers for nice discounts. We enjoy walking to the ferry landing and traveling over to downtown San Diego...visiting the maritime museums including the famous Midway aircraft carrier and then strolling through Seaport Village and taking the ferry back. There is MUCH to do even without getting in your car. BUT there is GREAT complimentary parking at the resort. You can rent in or buy-in...we bought in 20 years ago and we have NEVER regretted it!

We enjoyed January in Southern California! The Coronado Beach Resort is conveniently located near the beach and great restaurants. It was easy to travel to many outdoor adventures as we explored. Whale watching was fun. Old Town was delightful. The San Diego Safari Park had newborn elephants, giraffes, rhinos, kangaroos and more.

Have stayed here many times w timeshare . Love the area, closeness to beach the ferry and restaurants. Ms Cody the resident bird always fun to see and hold . Was raining alot so went around old town San Diego and also did the whale watch trip although didn't see any whales but saw a submarine which was different !

We had a 2 bed/2 bath and shared with family. The living room was big and had everything that we needed. We were within walking distance to the beach and many shops and restaurants. Also there was a secure parking garage for our car. Great wifi and clean updated rooms.

This resort is across the street from Hotel Del Coronado. They provided 2 hours of free beach cruisers, free sand chairs & umbrellas for use. Rooms very clean, updated and comfortable. Pillows and beds were amazing. The resort sends a morning text letting you know about daily activities, snacks or drinks in lobby. Staff very friendly & accommodating.
