"Skip this show! Real bad!"

Total disappointment. Unfortunately we were deceived by the advertising; misnomer, “Comedy Jamboree”, not funny nor Musical. We took the family, thinking it was family friendly, but that was a disappointment as well. Don’t waste your time or money!

"First time to see them"

Decided we'd give it a shot with my kids, music was ok, comedy was ok, but not the best! Grand Jubilee was MUCH MUCH better. Good show for something to do, won't go again though.

This was a funny show and will not break the bank to see it. Very well put together and will hold your attention. Love how the characters meet you during intermission and sign autographs.

Today is January 13th and a time for area appreciation at Comedy Jamboree. There is no snow on the ground, nor ice on the highways. The fog that blanketed the area on Monday gave way to sunny skies. My beloved wife is in Kostroma visiting family and friends and spending my money at a rapid pace. I have been hanging out with my pups since January 14th and clearly had grown tired of being cooped up at the homestead. After making several last-minute phone calls to determine whether any of my multiple friends of 2 or 3 were available to attend with me, I decided to traverse the mountain roads alone to spend time in jovial pursuit. I have had the pleasure of almost knowing Apple Jack and Wayne personally for approximately five years since moving to the Ozark Mountains. I have attended their shows at Grand Country previously, which is saying quite a lot since many of the offerings in Branson I will not return to out of either boredom, disappointment, or a combination of these and other issues that I cannot mention on a public site. The musicians are well-versed in the art of performing, which is a very good trait to possess since this is what they do for a living. Vocal harmonies were tight and devoid of tonal incongruencies that drive anyone with perfect pitch to the point of insanity. The only singular issue with this show is that it is not good for extremely young children. But then again, any newborn under the age of three months should likely sleep through anything anyway. Alas, I was thoroughly entertained beyond imagination. Please note, however, that at my ripe old age, imagination left my cognitive abilities years ago. As an artist, and not a performer, I harbor advanced musical training as a vocalist, concert pianist, and, to a much lesser degree, a fumbling guitarist. I harbor no reservations at offering my full support for the cast and crew of this delightful show. I will end this review with a side note that only two members of the cast will grasp. Tablerock Healthcare; 2 PM CST on Sunday; or else. Yes, the residents need you desperately or they will be completely at my mercy. LOL

"Not so good. Buyer beware!!"

We saw the word “comedy” in the title and thought it would be a comedy show. It wasn’t!!! We were hoping to laugh, we barely did. The price is way more than it should be and the performance was sub-par. When we walked in there were 3 guys doing some comedy before the show. It was about the funniest part of the show!!! Then the music and singing started. This was strange because we expected comedy. Instead, we felt like we were on a cruise and watching one of the mediocre acts that they have at night. Ya know, the ones that all of the old people go to instead of going to the casino or something else fun! Well, it was disappointing and lived up to those low standards. The singers were fair but one of the funniest things to us was that they said that all of the choreography was done by this one singer. It was the funniest part because the choreography was terrible and we couldn’t stop laughing at them making a big deal of it. There were a couple of funny parts but out of 2 hours, I wanted to see comedy, not mediocrity. I was really disappointed because we paid $60 to get in and considered leaving at intermission. Why didn’t we??? Not sure. It was kinda like a train wreck that you couldn’t take your eyes off of. You wanted it to look away but just couldn’t! And $3 popcorn, really??? And they sold cds and stuff and then let people come up during intermission so they could sign them. REALLY???? I think I laughed harder at that line than anything else! So, I really hate talking bad about someone’s work, but it just didn’t meet expectations or price point. Sorry! Try something else or buyer beware.
