"Wow!!! Not easily impressed but was delighted!"
May, 2018
My kids and I went to the aquarium and loved it. Everyone there was awesome...except for an incredibly rude and harsh older lady that was managing lines at the entrance. Buying tickets in advance online was the way to go! Seeing Nicholas do his routine was the highlight of the experience. Wonderful place.

"Utter dissapointment"
May, 2017
We were looking foward to seeing a wide variety of animals, (and maybe a show or two) but instead saw only 2 dolphins, 5 otters, 5 turtles, and some stingtrays. The place's main claim to fame was the movie that was shot here, and winter and hope. It was also immensly overpriced, and there were more donation boxes than animals. The gift shop could have been another exibit. It was an utter dissapointment. Would not go.

This was an awful experience! For what we paid and seen 3 dolphins and 4 turtles. The tanks were cloudy and dirty. Wouldn't waste my money if I were you! We was there about an hr.

"Clearwater Aquarium"

I have been to this aquarium twice and would highly recommend it for all ages. Great hands on for kids. I especially like the fact that all of their animals are rescues and not just captured for people to see.

"our disappointment"
January, 2015
yeah, it was o.k., but disappointed that did not get a closer look at Winter. The pool was very small because of a perimeter about 3 feet wide and the shading it was quite difficult to get a good view. I believe we saw Winter rise above the water line two times where we could see what was left of his tail. The other aquarium creature were more visible, but still not a whole lot to see. An otter, a couple of stingrays and some turtles and that was about it. So there you have it.

"Informative and a nice size aquarium for kids"

We spent half a day there...enough to engage the kids..although, they were hoping to see maybe an injured manatee..they loved seeing it being an aquarium full of injured animals that they try to rehabilitate and release, or take good care of them..the staff seem to really care over the animals.

I'm from colorado and I'm visiting my friend in Florida for spring break and she said we HAD to check this place out. The entire experience was amazing, the animals looked very happy, which was important to me. An employee named Fernando taught my friends and I about sea urchins and let us touch one. Would definitely return if I come back again! Definitely recommended!

"Not what we expected..."

We recently had our two grandsons (6 & 8) visit with my sons. We all watched the two movies the night before we went to visit Winter, Hope, and Rufus. The kids were so excited. I had read about the place, but did not realize that it is more informational versus playful. I didn’t expect Seaworld, but thought the animals would be more interactive. We walked around and could see both Winter and Hope in a large pool. Winter had the new tail off and just bobbed around the top of the water. Hope swam around. It was sad watching Winter. I asked a worker why her tail wasn’t on. They said it only goes on for rehabilitation excersizes. Rufus (Ricky) was in a section with three or four other birds that all look alike. We couldn’t tell which one he was. There was 1 baby otter sleeping and several turtles. It was time for an exhibit so we headed out to the bleachers. A gal told us the complete story of Winter. There was a dolphin named Nicholas in a pool by us. I thought we’d see a show or something with him. Instead, she talked for a long time in a monotone voice. I was bored, so you can imagine the kids. They were restless and wanted to see Nicholas do something. The only exhibit that held their attention was the Slime Time With Professor Peduncle. They loved this.
