What to do on a rainy afternoon in New York? We decided to do the NYC cruise all around Manhattan. It was great to see the island from the water and the tour guide David was entertaining, although we didn’t get all his film/celeb references, being as we are from the UK! The only downside was that as the weather wasn’t good the views were hazy and we didn’t take many photos. Well worth doing though.

Brilliant tour. You see all the sights that you would like to see from a comfortable boat. It does a complete circle of Manhattan island (the Harlem river and Yankee Stadium depends on the tide) but well worth the money.

We got a drink when we boarded then never bothered again as the queues were so long we'd have missed the sights. We did the evening cruise and despite the chill it was fabulous
