"It’s now a Christmas Eve tradition!"
December, 2018
This is our third year celebrating Christmas Eve at Christmas Town! It’s always exciting to walk into Busch Gardens at night decorated with thousands and thousands of lights. And the holiday music and decorations makes it so special. We’ve enjoyed all of the shows and the food is fun and wonderful. Christmas Eve wouldn’t be the same without the excitement of Christmas Town. See you next year!

"Fabulous Christmas spectacular!!"
December, 2018
Busch Gardens' Christmas Time was a sight to behold!! Plan ahead to allow for time to see the shows and sights you really want to see. We purchased quick passes to three shows and the train. It was pricey but worth it to not have to waste the day in long lines.

I was very pleased to find the site. Offered a nice discount and easy purchase. What I really appreciated too was the security in placing my order with my CC. Unfortunately, son got sick after we got there. I’ll def check them out out again. No extra fees either.

I took my two kids a couple years, and we had a blast. I was so looking forward to taking them again this year. Our experience got off to a bad start when we parked in the overflow lot. A gentleman sitting in the row next to the driver of the tram noticed visitors were able to park in this lot as they were able to pull in directly from the highway and avoid the parking ticket booths. He mentioned this to the driver, and she said that she knew this wasn't fair. She stated that the tram drivers have voiced to management how unfair it is and how visitors have taken noticed and have commented to them. Next, it was too crowded. The wait for each ride was over 1.5 hours. The ride operators lacked energy and took longer than usual to load and unload riders. They just leisurely made their way to each ride. A season ticket holder told me on the way back to the lot that now Christmastown is included in season passes, so it has become way too crowded...dangerously too crowded as people just stop to take pictures with nowhere for people behind them to go to get out of the way. It's too dark and crowded for people to just stop to take pictures when they feel like it. Visitors were snapping at each other for cutting the lines, stopping willy-nilly, and sitting single on rides instead of sitting siblings together or parent with child. Someone got sick on the Flying Machine, and it took over 20 minutes for the clean up crew to arrive. We left so disappointed as a couple years ago, it was so much fun and a very pleasant memory. This time we said we would never go back at any time of the year.

"Poor signage"

We were there in Dec, for the Christmas decorations, etc. I’ve been to at least 10 major amusement parks in 7 or more states, & the directional signs here are horrible. Especially for an event that largely occurs after it’s dark outside. Park employees even had difficulty directing us. Large groups of people would be standing in front of the occasional map sign, & no one could figure out where we were on the sign. We basically spent a small fortune to spend most of the evening wandering around lost.

Had a great time here with my sons. They're in their 20's and they're into roller coasters since they were young . We purchased online the one day tickets that came with the all day food deal for like $ 45 and they were worth the price. You could get food in one of the several huge mess halls serving various kinds of themed meals practically every 30 minutes .We ate our breakfast, lunch, several snacks and dinner there) My kids went on all the notable roller coaster rides + the animal shows, some w/ some comedy thrown into the mix and I went on my own and watched all the shows that were practically like Broadway shows + pet/animal shows. The park is European themed so it's like visiting Europe, showcasing the culture and shows of each country , (Germany, Ireland, Italy, England etc). You can finish the shows in one day if you look at the brochure where the shows and time slots are written and plan well ahead of time how to go about it. We've been to Disneyland, Disneyworld, Hershey Park and Six Flags and its not exactly better than DW and DL but for middle aged adults, I think it has a lot to offer in terms of shows that you can finish I one long day as well as enough thrilling roller coasters for young adults.
