"Christmas at Branson"
December, 2018
My husband and I are very cautious of where we stay. I had researched many places to stay in Branson that were reasonably priced. Barrington Hotel and suites was very nice for what we paid and it reserving it through was a super easy. Check in was smooth and staff was very friendly! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

"Very nice stay"
December, 2018
My husband and I had the Barrington on our list of possible places to stay because it had such good reviews. When I looked at the packages and the Barrington was one of the hotels offered I was so glad. Our stay was great, the whole hotel was very clean and well maintained. We didn't use the pool but my husband was impressed by it's size and how clean it was. Our room was very nice, the bed was comfortable and very clean. Our mini fridge stayed super cold and actually froze some of our canned sodas! The only thing I wish we had was more counter space in the bathroom. It had a very nice storage cabinet under the sink but not a lot of space for makeup, personal care products on the counter. Breakfast was very good and everything was well cooked and warm/hot. We will stay again when we go to back to Branson.

"Great place to stay!"
December, 2018
This was my first time to stay here, and it was great! The room was very clean. We checked in late due to being at an afternoon show. The desk called me to make sure we sweet still coming, and that everything was ok. They were very friendly. Last, but not least, the breakfast was wonderful! We will stay there again!

While the hotel is older, it was very clean and the staff are very welcoming and professional. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean, and the breakfast was good. I like the location as well. We would stay here again.

We were kinda weary with this hotel at booking but sooo glad we picked it! It’s in a perfect area right off Gretna and shepherd of the hills, you can get anywhere on those streets. The beds were super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious! We stayed for 5 days and never got tired of the selection! Eggs and sausage were super good! The lady that was in there helping was great and helped stuff move easily! We really enjoyed our stay and decided to stay there every time we come!

I made reservations a month in advance for 2 nights. I am a very light sleeper so as always I requested a room on the top floor in a quiet area. 5 days before arrival I called the hotel to confirm my reservation and to make sure they had my request. She assured me we would be put in a quiet area. At 11 am the day we were going to check in I received a call from the hotel wanting to make sure we would be arriving and she wanted to to know what time to expect us. Check in time starts at 3 but I told her it would be early evening. At the time I thought how nice but after I arrived that was replaced with knowing that they had longer to clean our room or could rent it to someone else. We arrived at the hotel at 6:20. As I was checking in the clerk showed me a map of where our room was. They put us in a room DIRECTLY next to the housekeeping room. Next over from that was the ice machine, pop machine, then the elevator. RIGHT across from our room is the breakfast area which started at 6:30 I believe. I told her my objections to the room location and also my request a month in advance, 5 days out confirmed, and that morning confirmed. She said don't worry the rooms are sound proof. We went ahead to our room. Our room was clean except for the long black hair in the bed (assuming sheets wasn't changed from previous guest). The room was anything but sound proof. Starting early in the am we were awoke buy the sounds of the elevator dinging each time it arrived, housekeeping getting stuff out of the room next door, and everyone talking and kids crying from the breakfast area. Couldn't possibly fall back to sleep as this was non stop. We were looking forward to a good breakfast so got dressed and went across the hall. The only thing they had in breakfast area was plain cream cheese, no jelly, no butter. Unless you wanted peanut butter or honey on your bagel you were out of luck. They didn't even have bread, muffins... nothing. For hot food they had biscuits/gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage. And if you wanted anything to drink you were out of luck unless you like coffee. They were completely out of juice both days and no milk. And of coarse since there was no milk they didn't have cereal either. I asked about juice and milk was told they were out and there was a pop machine across the hall. They had 1 kind of fruit which was apples. We got to listen to the breakfast lady at the hotel go on and on complaining to the other employee about the kid who took 2 bites of an apple and threw it in the trash and how wasteful that was.....all this right in front of all the guests. Oh and the lemonade they advertised to have in the lobby...well of course they didn't have that either, only water. I can understand running out of items at the end of breakfast hours occasionally but this wasn't the case. We went an hour before the end of the breakfast hours and it was exactly the same both days. Hotel definitely not as advertised and they aren't very honest. Spend your money and go elsewhere!

"Great Value-Priced Inedpendent Hotel - Clean Rooms and Friendly Service"

We stayed two nights in December. We had 2 adults and 2 adult children and had a double queen room. I made my reservations online and check-in was a breeze. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and the fireplace was going and nice and warm. There were cookies on the counter and christian music in the background. Great first-impression! We were on the 4th floor and had to park behind the building and entered on the side door onto the 2nd floor. There are two elevators, so wait time isn't bad. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The beds were great and we actually enjoyed hotel-room pillows!! The room had a small refrigerator and a coffee pot. The bathroom was very clean with nice features. The first morning, we were eating away from the hotel but we made coffee in the room. Slept well in the comfortable beds. We were out for the day and got back to the room late that night. We noticed that housekeeping didn't restock our coffee that we used. The next morning me and my two kids went to breakfast and arrived at 9:05am for a breakfast that was supposed to go to 9:30am. We were disappointed to see that they ran out of regular coffee, apple juice and jelly. There were 3 biscuits remaining for biscuits and gravy. There were bagels, there but nothing to really put on them except honey. The lady attendant that was working the breakfast room looked less than thrilled to be there at that point. We ate what we could and as we were leaving noticed that they were restocking everything for the housekeeping staff to eat. This was very frustrating as they didn't keep the items stocked for the entire advertised breakfast time, but did for the workers. We went back to the room and packed up and headed out. Our overall experience was very good and we will probably return due to the great value and clean/comfortable rooms and hopefully we'll have a better breakfast experience.

We won a free night at this hotel, but the management would not let us upgrade to a king suite even though there was one available. We were going to pay the upgrade fee. This is not good business. We will not want to return to this hotel.

Our stay here was wonderful! The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas; I love the fireplace! They have staircases in the middle & at each end of the hotel if you don’t prefer the elevator. Clean hotel & welcoming staff. Breakfast was served on the 3rd floor as they have 4 floors; nice touch ☺️

This was the first time staying here. Very good experience. The breakfast was good, eggs, gravy, biscuits, sausage and a whole bunch more of good stuff. My husband liked the wholesome food. It was off the strip but it wasn’t bad drive to the places during the week.
