"Better than last year"

This year the line to register was much shorter than the year before. I used the kiosk to check out. It worked flawlessly. The lowest limits on the crap table were $10 - I prefer $5. I had to travel downtown and to Henderson to find a $5 or lower limit table. Staff at Bally's were uniformly pleasant.

I was very disappointed in our stay. It WAS our go to place to stay in Vegas, however this past visit changed that. Horrible experience at check-in. Elevators did not work properly, waited approximately 10 minutes each time we wanted to go to/from our room. Our first full day there no one cleaned our room. We left our room at 1:00 p.m. and did not return until after midnight and it was not cleaned. When we first went into our room after check-in it was not clean. There were bottle caps and bottles still in the room. Had to pay $14.99 daily for internet in the room but it didn't work. There was also barely any service in the rooms as well. Will NOT be coming back to Bally's.

"not sure I would stay here again - would rate it 2.5 stars if I could"

I stayed here while attending a conference. When I booked the hotel, I did get the daily rate, but not a total with all other charges that ended up eventually included (tax, resort fee). Resort fee? This is not a resort of any kind. The resort fee of over $30 is really a charge for internet and fitness room (which I did not use). I was attending the conference on official business as a federal employee and I got from work a form stating that I am exempt of all taxes at the hotel. The hotel make me pay the taxes anyway because I did not pay with a certain credit card they required. The staff did not seem to try much to be helpful. In conclusion, BE READY TO PAY MUCH MORE than what you expect when you make the reservation. About the room: large, quiet, with comfortable bed. The decor looks dated. There was NO COFFEE MAKER in the room, so I bought one for $16 at Walgreens for the week I stayed there. Less expensive and more convenient then having room service coffee every morning. Location of the hotel is good, close to the Strip, but getting into and out of the hotel is inconvenient, having to go up and down the stairs. I do not think I will stay here next time when in Vegas.

"Awesome place!"

It was great that it was located in the middle of the strip. Our room was kept well cleaned. Every employee, from the registration desk to the cleaning staff, were very helpful when we had questions. I could see the Big Wheel ferris wheel from our room, which was great to see at night! The Bellagio fountain was across the street from Bally's, so we could go watch the performance whenever we wanted.

"Room 1934 ~ Nice side view of Bellagio Dancing Waters"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed February 20, 2019 NEW
We came in late on a Tuesday and the self serve kiosks were useless for our check-in. Apparently they were out of the room we had been promised so they upgraded us to room 1934 - end of the hall, huge room with a huge tub & shower taking up about half the room. Nice large open room. The window door says it only opens an inch but it really just stays cracked open a fraction of the inch. Heavy drapes kept the sun at bay but we were up by 8a anyway. The TV is weird to figure out but we weren't in the room much. Bally's is a great location adjoining Paris, has a BART stop and easy access to hop a bus down to the Circus and Freemont Street. Checked out 3 diff dispensaries, prices were varied, we found the best deals were out at NuWu, but Planet 13 and Pisos(?) were helpful and closer to the strip. If you go to Planet 13, take the free shuttle ~ why pay for a cab? Our group did some walking, Lyft, Bus, Cab & Super Shuttle, all were fast and friendly ~ the most confusion seemed to be with where to pick up folks for Lyft. Cabs were crazy pricey ~ you are charge by both the time & the mile! We'll be back, we'll probably go thru vegas.com again and we'll probably stay with the Super Shuttle folks - we barely missed our shuttle back to airport but they still got us there on time with no issues - Thanks Super Shuttle!
