This was my first trip to Hawaii and I had to go check out the Disney Resort, Aulani! We were only there one night but will definitely return. We stayed in a one bedroom ocean view villa with a glorious view of the pool area and the ocean. I pre-registered via an email link I received so check-in was painless and very quick. Self-Parking was complimentary for DVC members so we didn't have an expense. Our luggage was delivered to our room within 10 minutes of our arrival. In fact, when it arrived, we were exploring the villa and taking pictures both inside and on the balconies. Yes, TWO balconies with the same view of the pool/ocean. Glorious. My sister and her husband took the King Size bedroom and I slept on the pull out Queen size couch. Very comfortable and no back pain when I woke up in the morning. We also checked out the gift shops and I bought two Spirit Jerseys. Who doesn't need a little Magic on vacation? Although we didn't eat at the resort we did look at the menus and were happy to see both Mickey Waffles and Mickey Bars are available here. Photo Pass too - so you get the complete Disney experience. This is a wonderful property and we will definitely return. Go for it!

Enough for three generations to enjoy, have fun and feel like everyone is included. Loved it, wish we could stay much longer. Tons of food options. Ama-ama is a must, especially at sunset. Enough Disney touches to satisfy the fanatics, but not overwhelming for those that are not Disney crazy.

We had high expectations of Aulani and it exceeded them. We absolutely loved our stay. We had our boys, 10 and 8, with us and they loved it too. The resort is gorgeous, the amenities and activities are plentiful, and the location in Ko'Olina was perfect. The beach was great for swimming - no huge waves. Our boys especially enjoyed the lazy river and water slides. And, of course, we loved the Disney touches - hidden Mickeys, characters, etc. We did the luau as well and thought it was great. The restaurants were good too - we did get tired of lunch options by the end, but we could have ventured out further and just didn't want to. We spend 4 of 7 days at the resort and spent the other 3 exploring Oahu - a perfect mix of relaxing and seeing the island. The service at Aulani is top notch - we were always impressed with the cast members we encountered. We cannot wait to go back to Aulani - it is truly a special place, especially if you love Disney.

Anyone who leaves a negative review of this place must be either out of their mind or miserable. This place is spectacular!!!!! From the moment you pull up to the doors you instantly feel like you are swept away to another place. You know you are at a Disney resort but the place does scream Disney its very subtle and classy touches of Disney! CHECK IN: The lobby is so so beautiful! Make sure you take a moment from your check in to admire the details. We did online check in prior to arriving so our check in time was less than 5 mins and we were in our room! The Lei greeting is such a nice touch. ROOM: Our room was spotless upon arrival. The best part of the stay were the robes!!!! Ugh they were so soft and so comfy I used mine everyday. We ordered room service breakfast one day and it came just at the time we ordered and everything was fresh, warm, and delicious. The pricing is a little high but you have to expect that since you are in Hawaii FOOD: I have zero complaints about the food! We managed to get reservations at 'Ama'Ama and it was incredible. The sunset view is breathtaking. We ordered an appetizer, a bottle of wine, two entrees and some sides and our bill was around $300 for the two of us. Again, pretty pricey but its Hawaii and we wanted to splurge! BEACH: INCREDIBLE!!!!! The highlight of this place is the beach. Its stunning. And the water is so calm you can easy let your children play in the ocean without fear. They offer beach drink service which was the best! Before booking our trip I had a hard time wrapping my mind around the price of this place. I totally get it now. You are booking a luxury hotel and they give you a luxury experience!! We weren't travelling with kids but for those looking to travel with little ones you can not beat this! We are already planning our next trip!

As soon as you enter their doors the beauty is breathtaking. You know by the friendly greetings by staff it's only going to get better. The view from the lobby was amazing. There is something for all ages young or not so young. Our room was spectacular, clean and staff were accommodating. We asked for anything and within minutes it was there. As with all Disney Resorts I believe they could lower their prices on the restaurant/ food. The character dining is always pricey and I know that some families cannot afford it (when you hear a parent say no we can't afford it well the disappointment on their faces gets me every time). Having an allergy to seafood was challenging but the Chefs came and spoke with me and offered to cook separately which I truly appreciated. The pools are kept clean and are well supervised. The beach was amazing (no lifeguards though hmm).Overall it was an amazing time but I probably will not be back as I found it too pricey.
