"A good place to stay close to Disneyland and kid friendly"

We usually stay here when we do our Disneyalnd trips. The kids love that they have their own room. Bunk beds and a pull out sleeper couch help for big families. The rooms are seperated by glass sliding doors. Yes this is an older hotel and a little dated, but the cleanliness and service make up for it. I would rather have a clean room and good swervice verses a state of the art room that is dirty. You are at Disneyland so not much time spent in the room anyway. It is a 12 minute walk to Disney. No continental breakfast but good parking with the parking garage finally built.

Pictures on website make this place look much better then it actually is. Room was clean and a great size but getting older and showing some wear. No safe in the room and cheap furniture. Walls are paper thin. We could hear conversations of adjacent rooms. The absolute worst part of the stay was the room above us. Kids were running and jumping for 2-3 hours straight each night, loud enough to wake us and sometimes until 1-2am. We called the front desk 5 nights in a row re this and nothing was done. We also have kids, we get it, however they were running and jumping loud enough to wake us up and nothing was done. Even a room change could have been offered. Other items stood out as troublesome as well; locked door to secondary building broken for 3 days, lots of homeless in the area and building was not secure, heated pool was freezing, hot tub frequently had food (pizza and pizza box, chicken wings) and litter in it, front desk staff gave my husband a key to our room without checking any ID or even confirming it was our room, two hours after check out was billed $700 on my credit card in error, issue was corrected without even an apology or explanation. Housekeeping staff were great, very friendly and rooms very clean. Front desk staff not so friendly, at check out didn’t even ask how stay was or acknowledge we had such a difficult time with noise from guests above us. After a long day at Disney the last thing you want is to be kept awake every single night by someone else’s kids running wild. They clearly knew there was an issue and didn’t offer to move us or deal with the issue. Overall a disappointing stay for us, particularly the thin walls and the front desk staff. With so many choices in this area they need to step up their game.

"Pool was freezing"

Rooms were fine. It was close enough to Disneyland. But the "heated" pool was barely heated, to the point hardly anyone would go in. It took the fun out of the stay. Next time I'll try somewhere else unless they fix that.

"Old and outdated"

We had 3 family suites and stayed for 4 days. We stayed here a few years ago and were impressed, not so much this time. Rooms were run down, one of the rooms had a dirty towel folded up and put with the new ones, trim on mirror in bathroom completely gone down to the wood or whatever base was. All of us experienced problems with keys not working - not fun when you are tired after a long day at Disneyland. I heard many other customers saying the very same thing. This place is in sad shape and needs some serious upgrading. Staff was very pleasant though.

"Not bad and a good value."

This isn’t a 4 star hotel and that’s ok. It’s an older hotel so there are older hotel issues. The first day I got there it was raining and cold and the room heat wasn’t working. I called and they immediately sent maintenance to switch over the AC to heat. The front staff was very nice and accommodating, giving me a first floor room because I mentioned I was tired. The hotel is close to several convenience stores and quick food options. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious. There was only one mirror so I would suggest adding a few more. The surrounding hotels are much more expensive than this hotel so I would recommend this as a great alternative to them. You won’t be blown away but you will feel like you got your money’s worth.
