"Very good hotel, well located, expensive but you pay for what you get"

Really enjoyed my stay here, the service was friendly and the room was very good. It’s on the expensive end of the price range but probably worth it relative to similar hotels in Toronto. It was a great base for exploring as well as being close to business centre

"A Good Ole Standby"

We were able to book the King Eddie for a couple of nights at a reasonable price using a web booking site and had a wonderful stay. We love the location, as it is centrally located near St. Lawrence Market and a number of great restaurants. The Eaton Centre and Dundas Square is not too far to walk. The only downside is the HVAC unit, when functioning, sounds like as if there was diesel locomotive in the room. Our simple solution was to just turn it off. It made for cool refreshing mornings, as the outside temperature was -8 degrees, but we survived!

"Great location, hotel a little tired"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed November 29, 2018 NEW
This hotel was in a great location in Toronto. It allowed us to access all the central facilities and attractions easily. Plenty of restaurants around in walking distance. Also easy to arrange to get to all of the main attractions in and around Toronto. There were certain things we did not like about the hotel. The restaurant was pricey compared to high class restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel looked a bit tired. The main revolving doors were more often than not out of use. There was a cracked mirror repaired with tape near our elevators. There were some pieces of plastic left on one of our tables in the room and these were not cleared for two days until we put them in the bin. Be prepared for noise late at night if there is an event in the ballroom.
